Chapter 6

Authors pov

It was dark out and the only light they had was from the moon and a few street lights. The boys walked down streets, casually talking about what had happened at the party. The casualness was interrupted when lance stepped in a puddle, splashing their ankles. "Ahh for gods sake," Lance moaned as he pulled his foot out of the puddle. "Sharp work samurai," Keith rolled his eyes. "So, now that we're talking about random stuff and all, what are your plans for after high school?" Keith asked looking down at his shadow as they walked. "After high school huh? I don't think about it much, we'll I'd probably work for the family business for a while, get some cash, go to college, study to get a good job but at the same time have a relationship with someone who makes me happy, supports me, someone who I can come home to and hug and binge watch naruto for ages with." Keith cringed at the thought of binge watching naruto. "What about you?" Lance asked looking at the shorter boy. "I- I really don't know, I want to get into college as soon as possible but that'll be hard with my parents not being around most the time, Shiro can't pay for me I mean he's got to save up for college himself, I just want to be happy, and I know what you mean by wanting that person to come home to, I guess sometimes I want that too." Keith sighed as he realised they were basically at his. Keith pulled his phone out to see a text from Shiro:

Chat name: Shiro and Keith
Shiro: Staying at Alluras tonight, don't worry matts here too, make sure to eat something before bed:)

Keith slipped his phone in his back pocket before walking up his driveway. Lance stopped outside his house, "I'll see you later I guess!" Lance smiled before starting to walk ahead. "Lance wait~" keith yelled. Lance turned around and look Keith in the eyes. "It's dark, no ones home, Shiro's staying at Allura's , why don't you stay the night? You don't have to but that's just an option, as I said you don't have to~" Keith was interrupted. "Sure, I don't want to wake my family up anyway," Lance smiled walking up the driveway.

Keith pov

Oof. I hope this isn't awkward. I unlock the door as we walk in. I rip off my jacket, kick off my shoes and fling myself onto the sofa. Lance walked in a few seconds later, sitting himself on the edge of the sofa. "Uhhh, one small thing," I say taking a deep breath, "you don't mind sharing a bed do you? I just don't think my parents or Shiro would appreciate it if I let you stay in their rooms." Lance was silent for a moment, "no problem, as long as you don't mind me sleeping shirtless," Lance laughed. "Shirtless? Why?"
"I get too hot."
"Alright."

Authors pov

So the the two boys went upstairs and got ready for bed. Keith took a hair tie from his desk and pulled his hair back into a pony tail. Keith tucked up into the corner of his bed after plunging in his phone. Soon after lance retuned from the bathroom, pulling his shirt off, he joined Keith in the bed, switching the light off on his way. He tucked in the duvet and faced away from Keith. Keith stared at the luscious locks of lances hair. Keith felt uncomfortable so he turned over and before he knew it lances arms were wrapped around him, he felt goosebumps on his body, however he decided to roll with it and fall asleep.
