A few days had passed and Keith and lance hadn't spoke much. Shiro spent a week away from home on a school trip thing. Keith hadn't spoke to lance properly for a few days. It made Keith feel alone. He missed lance. He decided to send lance a text.

Hey babe, doing anything later? X

Keith switched his phone off and sat on the end of his bed looking through an old photo album. In side the album was old photos of a family. A happy couple with two sons, one of them a baby in their mothers arms, the other a toddler holding its father hand. The two boys were Keith and Shiro. The happy couple behind them, their parents. When Shiro was 3 and after Keith was born their mother left them. They have no memories with their mother. The only thing they had to remember her by were a few photos. He sat in silence flickering through the half empty photo album and was interrupted by a ping.

Got a prom meeting until like 9.30, hang out at 10? X

Keith smiled

       Cool, come to mine X

Okay babe see you then X

At least he wasn't going to be completely lonely all night. He just had to find a way to keep himself occupied until 10. Keith was used to feeling lonely, in fact he liked it, however he couldn't help but feel anxious, like the whole world is moving on without him. And he's stuck in time, stuck only with photos for memories. But every second he feels that way, he lost more and more self esteem. Keith clenched his fists and slammed them
on the sofa grunting. He hated that feeling more than anything else. He yelled but no one heard him. He ran up to the bathroom and threw water in his face. He looked at his reflection in the mirror. Messy hair covering his face, pale skin, and a sickened expression. He pulled his hair back into a ponytail out of his face as a tear rolled down and landed in the sink. Why? Why does every one he cares about leave? His mom, dad, Alex, Shiro going to college, and sooner or later lance and the others would leave him. And he'd be alone... forever. He checked his phone for any important notifications. Nothing. The time: 6:23. He had hours of feeling this way. How would he cope with himself?

Keith decided to change out of his sweaty top and lay down on his bed. He grabbed his remote from his bedside table and switched on his tv, opening YouTube. He scrolled down his recommended until something caught his attention. Moth man conspiracies. Maybe that would calm him down? He sat there, trying to focus on the tv however his brain was somewhere else. The sound was quiet, the screen was blurry and all Keith focused on was the voices. Reminding him that surely lance doesn't really love him, it's a matter of time before he dumps and leaves him, and then no one will ever love him again.

It was about 2 hours later and Keith had fallen asleep yet to be texted by lance.

Meeting cut short, be there at 9?X

Keith didn't wake up to the notification.

     Babe?x

Keith still didn't wake up .

    I'll be there soon x

Keith continued to sleep. Lance thought nothing of it and walked round to Keith's house. He knocked at the door but no one came to open it. That's strange.. lance thought to himself. Lance opened the door realising it was unlocked and made his way to Keith's room. He slowly opened the door to find his boyfriend fast asleep, sweating buckets on his bed. He was tossing and turning as if he was having a nightmare. Lance dropped his bags and rushed to his side. He cupped his hands around Keith's face. "Babe it's lance, wake up," Keith shook his head and continued to sweat, toss and turn. Keith murmured something. "Say that again?" Lance said. "Mama don't go!" Keith tosses and then layer still continuing to sleep. Those few words struck Keith. Lance never asked about Keith's parents. I mean Keith was never open about that sort of stuff but after being together for so long, lance felt like he should know by now. Since Keith had calmed down he decided to let him sleep and leave the room. He silently tip toed down the stairs and into the lounge. On the coffee table beside the sofa he noticed a photo album. It was open. The photos he saw, he assumed for Keith and Shiro and then their parents. He couldn't help but awe at Keith's chubby baby face. He smiled. He wondered what happened to their parents. I mean, their mom was only in one of the photos and as he flicked further through the book, the father disappeared too. And then it was just Keith and Shiro. Lance felt guilty looking through the photos. He decided to ask Keith about his parents soon. But for now he decided to let his cute lil emo boyfriend get some rest.
