Chapter 7

Authors pov

It was probably about 4 in the morning. Keith awoke to the feeling of lance squeezing him tighter than before. Carefully, trying not to disturb him, he turned over to face lance. Falling from lances eyes like a river we're tears. Keith felt his heart sink. He'd never lance cry before. Not knowing what to do, he wiped the tears from lances cheeks. "Lance," Keith shook him a little, "Lance are you alright?" From the sound of Keith's soothing voice Lance slowly opened his eyes. "K-keith?"he sat up slowly wiping the tears. "Are you alright?" Keith repeated. "Yeah, I-i just had a weird dream, more like a night mare but you know," Lance said turning away from Keith, probably ashamed for crying infront of him. "What was the dream about? I mean you don't have to tell me if you don't want to~" "the dream," Lance continued, "in my dream, I came home and no one was there, the house was empty, no furniture, nothing, I walked into my room and I saw bodies. Not any bodies, my families bodies. Dead. All of them. I remember running out the house and bodies sorrounded me. I ran around the corner to your house and there you and Shiro were. You were alive, at least you were a few minutes... it was like you got possessed all of a sudden you both just lost it and your bones falling apart. I couldn't help but scream. That's all I can remember." Keith was so shocked to here that. "Man that's fucked up," Keith smiled, "but don't worry I'm still here." Keith noticed the pink spread across lances tanned cheeks. "Thanks, ima try and get some more sleep," Lance said tucking into the duvet once more watching as Keith joined him.

Keith pov

That was so weird. Does lance always have those sort of dreams. But I've never seen lance so, so sad. I wish I could of woken him up sooner. He doesn't deserve this. I may as well get some sleep, I've got that exam on Monday.

Authors pov

It was the next morning. Keith giggled as he awoke to the sight of druel down lances chin. Keith got up and went to the bathroom to wash his face and take a moment to recall the party and last night. By the time Keith reentered the room the Cuban boy was awake. "Well that was a night and a half," Lance spoke as he yawned. Keith sat down to lance and looked into his eyes. "Look if you ever want to talk about anything you know I'm here for you," Keith smiled. Lance shyly smiled back. "Thanks buddy, I better get heading home, my mum probably needs help with my siblings, I'll catch ya later?" Lance smiled putting his shirt back on. "Alright," Keith smiled while showing Lance out. Keith though lance was truely something special.

Time skip to school on Monday

The bell just went for first period. Lance ran in just on time and took his seat next to pidge and Keith for science. Miss didn't seem very impressed but she accepted his apology anyway. "Overslept?" Pidge whispered to lance, "nah, family issues." "ahh" she replied. "Today I will be giving you your grades for the assessment you did, however each student has a different grade for there effort at the science fair and their work I observed during class," miss continued as she handing out a letter to each student containing their grades. Pidge was excited to see she had got and A, Lance and Keith however a B+. "I guess that's what you get for ditching me at the science fair," Pidge laughed. " whatever," Lance laughed. Throughout the whole lesson Keith was doodling. He drew a picture of someone being stabbed and then he also drew a rainbow. Lance kept looking over at his doodles and laughing. Every time lance looked at him he just smiled. All he could do was smile when lance was around.

School passed pretty fast. Lance and Keith spent break times and lunch together alone today since hunk and pidge had this weird math club. Lance enjoyed spending time with Keith. They'd grown close over the few weeks of knowing each over. However lance being the bi boy he is felt a spark between the two of them. They connected like a puzzle pieces. So it was true. Lance had caught feelings for the other boy. Deep down he wanted Keith to be his but kept his mouth shut.

Time skip to McDonald's

"Hey Keith can you pass me my milkshake?" Lance asked as the group sat at the table. Pidge, hunk, Allura, Shiro, lance and Keith had met up for some late night McDonald's. Matt was studying for a test. Keith did as told and passed the milkshake. "So I heard you two really are a thing now,"
Hunk raised his eyebrows at allura and Shiro who just laughed and smiled at each over. "Should I try and pick up that lady?" Lance laughed. Keith stared intimidately into lances eyes. "Actually I can't be assed," Lance laughed. Deep down lance just wanted to show Keith that he was wanting a relationship but Lance was terrible at that so that explains a lot.

Keith pov

I can't help but stare at lance. 6 of us but I stare at lance. He's just got that look to him. The one you could look at all day. I tried not to make it obvious but oh well I'm terrible at this. Yes. Yea I like him. Damn it I like him.
