The new student

The school bell rings and the teacher stacks some papers together. "Ok class take a seat and wait 'till I pull up the screen for the attendance. She quickly sat on her wheelchair and rolled over to the shelf full of old math books. "Ok....Nope." She looks threw the books one at a time. "Nope. Not it. Close...Closer. Got it! Ok class today," She said rolling back to her desk "we will be on page 384 on your math books so if you guys can open your math books up please." She started to turn pages and Logan comes back. "Wow about time Logan." Logan was out of breath but wanted to tell the teacher why he went without asking. "S-so sorry Mrs. Phew! I'm tired. I've been holding it since the ride here." "Well since you were almost Now uh... Logan read and do problem number one. Bri you do..." she turns the page then turns back. "Go ahead and do number four. Ashley you do number...eight.

While I do attendance and we will go over these as a class since they are the hardest ones. Oh I see we have a new student. Ok let's see... Ashley is here, Kate is here, Annabelle, Samuel, Max, Mason, Saniya, uh- Yeah he's here. Sky is here, Halsey is here. Yeah ok I can see everyone is here. Cause there is only one empty seat. Wait a minute where is Logan?" "Oh that tall dude with brownish green eyes and blonde hair?" Said Max. "The teacher was cleaning her reading glasses. "Um yes." Max then replied. "He went to the bathroom. Like always." The teacher chuckled walking to her desk. "That kid is a troublemaker. Next time remind him to ask me." An office aid student from the office said, "Hello Mrs. Johnson you have a new student in your class." Mrs Johnson got up and said, "Thank you very much for showing to his first class. Well uh..." she looked at the attendance paper to see his name. "Aiden welcome to math class. I am Mrs.Johnson. You can sit right next to..." She started to look around and Aiden noticed Ashley. "Ashley." He said making his way over to the desk next to Ashley. "Oh uh sure. I can see y'all know each other. That's good. So Aiden have you learned about this in your old school?" Said Mrs. Johnson putting her reading glasses on, putting away the attendance screen on the computer and turns on the projector. "Yes ma'am. I'm actually highly advanced in math and reading." The teacher looks at him and is impressed. "Well you can go ahead and do number seven and eleven. That should be for the next two years but I wanna see if you can do them. Ok?" Aiden winks at Ashley. "Yes ma'am." They all got to work and gone over it was now about time for the bell to ring. As so, the bell rang and Aiden catches up to Ashley as she waits for Logan by his locker. "Hey Ash!" Ashley turns around and smiles. "Oh sup Aiden. How's it been?" Aiden looks at Ashley with a flirty smile. Looks at her down and up. "Good...Dang you don't look that kiddish as you once were. You were my little midget but now all grown up. Heh. Just kidding you looks great." Ashley blushes since she did have a crush on him back then. "Hey Ashley. You ready to head to Reading?" Aiden looks at Logan.

"Who is this?" Logan puts his arm around Ashley and kisses her in her forehead. "I am her Boyfriend." Aiden smiled. "That's good Ash you always wanted to have a good man by your side." Logan smiled back. "I'm glad you think that." He gave him an unusual smile. Ashley looked at the time. "We only have two minutes to get to class. I'll go show Aiden and you can go to class without me. Is that ok with you Logan?" Logan looked at the time then at Aiden then at Ashley. "Uh yeah...sure." He walked away and with that, Aiden and Ashley made their way to history. "So here is your next class and yeah enjoy the rest of your... school day,I guess." She said laughing since she didn't know what else to say. "Yeah sure...Good to know and thanks for showing me the way here." Ashley then replied, "Yeah sure no trouble. Logan did the same for me and I just thought why not help you." Aiden then took out his sheet of paper again for the schedule and said, "Also what's this for?" Ashley looked at the paper and said, "Oh bus eleven. Hey your lucky cause first of all, there aren't that many people there, and I ride that bus." She handed him back the paper. "That's cool. So can I sit with you?" Ashley stood in shock. "Oh I don't know...Logan and I always sit together and-" Aiden gave her a sad fake frown "pwease!" Ashley smiled and laughed. "Ok, yeah sure. But just so you know I have to tell Logan. I can't go without telling him." Later that day at lunch Aiden wanted to sit with Ashley. "Sup Ashley." Ashley turned around to see Aiden holding his tray. "Oh hey Aiden! Here sit down." She patted the spot beside her on her left side for him to sit down. Bryson set his tray down and sat in front of Ashley. "Sup my dude." Said Bryson doing the peace sign. "Oh, hey Bryson." Aiden said as he filled a spoonful of mashed potatoes with gravy on top, onto his steak finger, and ate it. "So... you dating Ashley already?" Logan sat down on the right side, beside Ashley. "Wait...You guys are dating?! Are you cheating on me Ashley!" Ashley sat there in shock after Logan raised his tone of his voice. "I uh-" Bryson interrupted Ashley and said, "Woah, chill Logan. I was just joking plus, your chick is pretty cute." He started drinking milk from his milk carton. "Oh..." Logan blinks fast so many times and he picks up his spoon and puts it gently on his smashed potatoes. Bryson starts to laugh. "Wow you think Ashley would do a thing like that? Man, you don't know her at all. So long for being her boyfriend." He bites a steak finger, eats it and looks at Ashley then at Logan to see his reaction to his statement. "Ugh." Logan did with a sigh and put his hand on his head. Bryson puts his hands up in the air "I'm just saying." Logan gave Bryson an annoyed look. "Shut up Bryson." Then turned to Ashley. "Also...I'm truly and very sorry Ashley. I thought you were cheating on me cause you didn't love me or something." Ashley gave Logan a hug and said, "It's ok I understand." Bryson had his jaw wide open. "Ok Ashley I think your a little too easy on this guy? I mean..." He leaned closer to Ashley and whispered, "What if this guy hurts you? He looks like the type of person. Do you not see how jealous he acted around Aiden and you so fast?"

Ashley turned to look at Bryson and gave him a reassuring smile. "Logan would never hurt me." She whispered a bit too loud. Logan looked up at Bryson while eating his smashed potatoes. Bryson looks away from Logan. "Ok if you say so." He gets up holding his tray. "Well I'm done with lunch." Ashley looked over at Aiden and Logan. "Wait, you're already leaving? But why?" "I have book club after and during lunch. So yeah." He got up, walked over to the trash can, and threw away his lunch. After that he walked to the library and while Logan and Bryson started talking to Ashley, Aiden ate all his lunch and finished it. He walked his tray over to the lunch ladies for them to clean, and went back down to the table. "So what do you want to talk about Ashley?" Ashley finished up eating her lunch. "Well tell me about how your old school was, and maybe how different it is from this one. Do you like this one better?" Logan took Ashley's tray and did the same as Bryson and Aiden. Aiden then whispered to Ashley, "Ashley, Bryson is right. You don't know what this guy is capable of. He could hurt you. I couldn't live with myself if I found out your boyfriend had killed one of my best friends since kindergarten. Please Ashley, try not to get him mad and promise me you will tell me anything that he tried to threaten you with. Ok?" Ashley nodded slowly then sideways signaling Aiden that Logan was coming back. "Yeah ok but I'm telling you he would never hurt me and if he does... then I guess I should have listened to you." Logan sat back down. "Well I have to go early to science class." He grabbed his backpack and kissed Ashley on her forehead "Bye babe. Love ya." and he followed the science teacher to her classroom.

Aiden looked at Ashley staring at Logan while he left. "So I'll tell you about the school since you wanted to know. Instead of pieces of paper we do all tests in the computer except the STAAR test. We also have these huge white boards we have this big I-pad looking things, and we also have laptops that are touch screen. Uh- let's see... hmm. Also we had thirty five minutes of lunch instead of twenty while watching a movie." Ashley looked around the cafeteria and then thought of all the things they didn't have that he had in his old school. "Wow I guess you like that school better huh?" Aiden shrugged. "It does have a lot more technology but I'm telling you it isn't better 'cause that school doesn't have you in it." He gave Ashley a flirty smile again and she blushed and turned away. "Stop it! You're making me blush." Aiden then winked at her. "That's good. That was my goal." The bell to dismiss all students rang for them to go to their next class. After school Logan had football practice all month long so Aiden and Ashley sat by each other and talked until Logan came back. "So see you tomorrow right?" Aiden said as the bus driver opened the door to drop off Ashley. "Yeah sure Aiden like always." Ever since she saw that Logan got jealous of Aiden, she would have horrible nightmares of him trying to kill her, but then she started thinking of the first time they met he told her he would never hurt her. She also had this weird dream about a werewolf. She would always end up wondering what the dreams meant. She would imagine that the werewolf dreams were probably dreams reminding her of Bryson when he first scared her just to make her just to prove the werewolf was real but ended up lying. She isn't certain but she really hoped nothing like this will ever happen.
