Kailas POV

I packed for the sleepover with Morgan and Carole and started walking to Caroles house.I remembered the blade Steve gave me and put it in my back pocket.I hate those socs and hate getting jumped.I never wanna punch someone,I just start drama a lot.

It was getting cold and dark.I couldn't see much but I knew I was almost there.I squinted my eyes and recognized a shorter figure with sparkles.

"Morgan?!Morgan!"I yelled.

"ah,thank goodness those socs have me scared to death when I walk alone."I said in a quiet tone.

"Did they jump you?!"she yelled back.

"No no,I'm fine.Are you fine?cuz I'm fi-ine."

"Ya,ya I'm fi-ine too"

we both laughed at that as we walked through Carole's yard.Johnny was just about to leave as we walked in.He jumped.

"Ooh,Johnny didn't mean to scare ya,my bad"I told him.

"Hey its alright,I was just saying bye to Carole.Uh,-clears his throat-you have fun."he said.

"Wait Johnny!"

"Ya,Kaila?"

"You got a blade?"I asked quiet.

"No,you?"

"Ya here,take mine.They ain't gonna hurt you when you got this."

"Shoot thanks"he said laughing.

"No problem!Byee JohnnyCake!"

"Bye everybody!"he yelled back to us.

"So whats first???"Morgan asked.

"I got some movies if you guys wanna watch'em?"Carole shyly spoke.

"Ya course,what kind?"

"Frozen"she replied.

"Shoot,Ill be watching it for the 15th time.Morgan I got you beat."I said in a johnny tone.

"I love it when you talk like Johnny!!!"Carole yelled.

We watched Frozen about two times before we fell asleep around 11:30.I was so tired after this rough day.

Carole's POV

In the morning we awoke to the smell of breakfast.

"Mom?What're you cookin?"

"Bacon and eggs!"she yelled, "want some girls?"Barbara,my mom said.

We all said yes and unison and sat on stools next to the counter.

"This is some well cooked eggs,Mrs.Larint.Better than Darrys,I think."

"I think you got Darry beat."Kaila agreed after morgans complimant

"You girls are so sweet.Thank you very much.I've never heard Carole say anything like that."

"Well I figured just eating it told you it tastes good.No?"

"Nice try,want me to drop you off at Darrys, girls?"

"If you don't mind.Its not a far walk."Morgan told my mom.

"I heard the socs jumped Kaila yesterday.I'll drive you guys.I need to get gas anyways.Do you know if Steve is working?"

"Ya he is,today he works morning shift with this girl Kat and I think soda might be there too."

"Great!I don't like those other boys,they are so weird sometimes.And there laugh,don't even get me started!"

I Iet out a giggle and then all three of us had a laughing fit.Once it was over everyone packed up and went to the Curtis house.Pony,Tori,and Two-bit were there.Ponyboy was talking to Tori in his room while Two-Bit sat on the floor watching Mickey Mouse and eatin cake for breakfast.
