Ponyboy's POV

The past four months I felt like I was dead inside.I got closer to Tori,never thought I could,shoot I thought I knew everything I needed to know about her.She was the only reason why I stayed alive.I dont mean I would kill myself,I mean she was my motivation to get up and so was Johnny even though he wasn't around.Today we were going to see him,bring him home to our house.Dally would be out 5 months after today,exactly 5 months since they got arrested the same day.

   When we reached the station I ran inside and asked for Johnny Cade,not even waiting for Darry and Soda and all them.

“No,I'm not 18 or older,but my brother is,"I turned around,“him!right there.Can we have'em now?"

“Yes,I suppose.He's right around the corner."the young lady sighed.

Dally's POV

Man,I can't believe Johnny would be gone today.I was sitting on the bed they provide you and talked to Johnny about how I was gonna miss him a lot.He sat there crying a little.

“Man,don't cry.I will be out soon.5 months I'll be out 5 months.Just 5."I said trying not to cry.

   Johnny was my buddy.He WS my favorite in the gang.Yq,I'm cold hearted ad don't care for people but Johnny-Johnny.Johnny I'd different,fragile.

“Johnny?Johnny!"Ponyboy,it was Ponyboy.Johnny is about to leave.

Johnny's POV

“Hey Pony!Ya got the keys?"I asked Pony.

“You bet I do!"he yelled with a grin on his face.

“Great.Get me out of this thing!"I yelled back.

   The rest of the gang just stood there smiling and when I got free we had a group hug.I turned to Dally.

“Ill miss you man."I sobbed hugging him through the cell door.

“Be careful.Stay away from the socs."he told me.

“Shoot kid,I will"was the last thing I said to him.I was gonna miss him so much.He was mean and all but he was my dad almost.My guardian,my brother.

Once we got to the Curtis house,everyone got ready for Bucks party in celebration of me gettin outta jail.

“Hey Buck.What's up?"

“Nothin kid.Have fun."

“I might"I replied.

“Shoot,you dig okay."

The party was so boring so I grabbed Pony and went to his house.

I crashed there.
