I get the three of us in the car and start driving to the hospital.

"Ana you're staying with Jonah today right? To keep him company."

She gives me a smile and nods, "Yes!"

"Okay, thank you. We'll probably get there around one, I'll pick you guys up at about 6, then we can go get something to eat!"

Jonah's face lights up, "Are we gonna go somewhere nice?"

"Sure, you guys can decide."

They both start whispering together and I laugh to myself.

When I get to the parking lot I chose a spot close to the door.

Jonah makes sure to unbuckle Ana and help her out.

"Thank you Jonah."

I give him a side hug and we walk in.

I walk lightly over to the counter, "We have an appointment for Jonah Rivers."

She nods, "Right this way."

Jonah smiles and follows the secretary towards a room down in the center of the hallway.

I follow them in and Jonah runs over to Doctor Sue, "Doctor Sue!"

She hugs him back and lifts him onto the hospital bed, "How've you been Jonah?"

She continues on with her usual questions and I set Ana up on the couch beside the bed.

"Behave okay? If you want to get something to eat the vending machine it right outside the room. Here's five dollars."

She takes the money and smiles, "Thank you."

I turn to Sue, "I'm heading out but Ana is going to stay with Jonah while he gets all his tests done."

She nods and with that I leave.

I knock lightly on Matt's front door and he opens it.

"Hey bed buddy!"

I laugh at his choice of words and walk in.

"I was just eating, want a bite?"

I nod and follow him down a hallway and into the kitchen.

I take a look around. His kitchens very open, it has an island in the center and expensive looking granite counter tops.

"Geez Matt, your house is really nice."

He looks over his shoulder at me as he takes out two bowls.

"Thanks! So, are you up for Mac n cheese?"

A smile spreads across my face as I nod my head yes, "Totally, I haven't had that in awhile!"

When he gets the bowls ready he hands me one along with a spoon.

We both start eating.

"So, how are you liking the town?"

I think for a minute, "I like it. I've met some cool people."

He laughs and looks at me, "Be proud, first week here and you have a bed buddy, that is quite impressive."

We both start to laugh as we finish up our food.

He puts our dishes in the sink then takes out what I assume to be breathe spray. He sprays the inside of his mouth then tosses it to me. I take a few squirts then send it back his way.
