(A/N: this is another filler chapter, chapter 3 should start branching off it though:)

I park the car relatively close to the entrance and get out. I walk around the car and open the door letting Jonah and Ana out.

"Jonah did you unbuckle Ana for me?"

His face lights up and he nods, "Yes! Now let's go get food."

Both of them take off through the parking lot and I instantly start to panic, "Kids stop please! Come back here and walk with me okay, I know you're excited."

Both of them stop and catch back up with me.

Once we're inside I think of what we may need, "Okay kids, we have spent 15 dollars to fill up half the tank, so that means we have 15 left. Let's go look for some food!"

I start to walk and Ana speaks up, "What are we getting?"

"Well, the list I made says bread, lunch meat, and condiments."

"What are condiments?"

"Things like mustard and ketchup."

Both of them nod and walk beside me.

I pull into the parking lot of Potomac Mills Mall.

Once I park I turn around in my seat and reach in the back, unbuckling Ana and then unlocking the doors.

Once we got out of the car I take Ana's hand in mine and the three of us walk towards the door.

"Drew, which store will you be working in?"

I look down at Jonah, "Well, Build-A-Bear is hiring so I hope to get a job there!"

Ana gasps and looks up at me, "So does that mean I get free toys?"

"Well, no, but we will get discounts!"

After that we just kept on going, by now we are already in the mall and are walking along the tiled floor.

We take a right turn down another long open hallway til I look up and saw a sign.

"Well, this is it. Let's get em kids."

I lead them into the store and up to the counter.

"Hi, my name is Drew Rivers and I called earlier saying I would be coming into to fill out an application."

The blonde standing in front of me looks at me with a blank expression as she pops her pink bubble gum. Without taking her gaze off me she reaches down under the counter and pulls out an application and a pen.

As she pops another bubble she nods then starts to snicker, "Sorry Drew, I like to give that whole bad ass -- oh sorry, there's children -- anywho, that whole bad girl mojo, when I do it if someone lashes out you already know they aren't fit for the job."

I laugh at her clever way of finding good co-workers then takes the pen in my hand.

"Oh, by the way my names Jordan, your new around here aren't you?"

I look up from the paper and nod, "Yeah, we just moved here recently. I'll be attending South County High School in the fall, I'm going to be a junior."

Her face lights up, "No way, me too!"

I smile, "That's cool! It's good I'll have one friend at least."

Jonah tugs on my hand, "Drew, I thought you said no one likes new kids?"

I smile down at him, "Yes I did, but there are some nice boys and girls who like the new girl or boy and are nice to them."
