(A/N: I'm sorry it's short, I have bad writers block! I'm having a lot of family issues so that's hard to! Hope you understand, ilyasm. BTW I LIKE READING YOUR COMMENTS BUT YOU GUYS RARELY LEAVE THEM.)
"Mrs. Evans? May I please use the lav?"
She waves her hand in annoyance and I get up, grabbing the pass on my way out. I begin walking down the long hallway towards the bathroom. When I walk in I hear a few other girls chatting but chose to ignore it. Once I've finished I walk out and begin to wash my hands. I over hear one girl say goodbye to another and then the room falls silent, other than the water running.
"Hey, your Drew Rivers, right?" I turn off the faucet rather quickly then turn my attention towards her. I roll my eyes at the fact it's Jenny, Jenny Mitchell, the most popular girl in our grade.
"Yeah, why?"
She smiles and pulls out a small white envelope from her back pocket, "Funny story actually. See, your mail man got a tad bit confused. This card was addressed to a 57 Jude Lane, but see I live on 57 Jude Road, where the rich live."
I roll my eyes, "Okay, so just give me the card." I reach for it but she pulls it away.
"Woah, woah not so fast. I got a little curious when I noticed the address it was sent from looked weird, so I looked it up. It's a prison. By that point I was hanging off the edge of my seat and I had to read it."
I swallow the hard lump in my throat as tears begin to well up in my eyes, "You had no right to read my mail, you can get arrested for this."
She smiles, "Oh, yes, because I'm scared of you. Now listen to me carefully. If you don't want your friends to find out why he's in prison, or what terrible thing put your daddy in there, then you gotta do some things for me."
I keep my eyes locked to her and nod.
"First of all, I like Matt. And I've been throwing myself at him since eighth grade. Tell me what you do to get him."
I shrug my shoulders, "I didn't do anything, he just came up to me at a party."
She starts to laugh, "Like Matt would ever just throw himself at a girl."
"Well he did."
"Whatever, we'll work on this after. Next, I hate pre-calc and I see your in Calc. So, from now on you'll be doing all my homework."
I roll my eyes, "Is that it your hiness?"
"For now." She snickers as she tosses the letter at me. I look down at the small envelope as she walks out. I've never had the courage to open these letters.

"Hey, so I was thinking after work today we can walk around the mall for a bit."
I look to Jordan as we both hop into my car, "Eh, maybe. I don't really have that much money."
She gives me an annoyed look, "C'mon with all the money we've made from working at the mall you've gotta have something"
"I use most of it to help with the bills, food, and gas."
She gives an apologetic nod then smiles, "Well, you can keep that money for your family and today after work I'll treat you to a shopping spree."
My eyes widen and I shake my head quickly, "Oh c'mon, Jordan! I couldn't accept that from you." I look away from her as I continue shaking my head and start the ignition.
"Really. Drew, I have plenty of money."
I bite my lip and nod, "Fine fine, but let's stop chit chatting and actually get ourselves to work." I reach my hand to the volume as the sound to Summer by Calvin Harris blasts through my speakers.
