I decided to use my rope plan until my 'rope' torn in half due to the fabric. I sighed dramatically before flopping onto my bed.
"Well, that plan failed," I said to myself as I unwrapped the 'rope' from my waist. "Now..." I trailed off and kept quiet, when I heard footsteps.
I then heard the door tug. The tugging continued until... "Don't touch it!" I heard my stepmother say, as I facepalmed. "How come?" a male asked, as it sounded familiar to Prince Plagg...
"Just trust me," she quickly said as I frowned just as the talking stopped. Slowly, one pair of clanking heels left as I sighed.
"So much for my happy ending," I mumbled to myself. "Hello?" the same male voice asked as he tugged more softly.
He heard me! "Are you Prince Plagg?" I asked as I hear a faint 'Yes'. I sigh in relief as we continue talking. "I have to go," he said before his footsteps descended.
I smile at the conversation we had, before realization hit me. I was talking to the Prince Plagg! I quickly covered my mouth, to keep myself from squealing.
"Okay, now I really have to escape," I told myself as I quickly dug up another slipper I had, just in case my stepmother or Lila had something up their sleeve.
After carefully wrapping the slipper, in the ripped fabric (with assistance from tape), I placed it near me as I took a deep breath.
"To infinity and beyond!" I yelled before jumping from my window. I heard onto the slipper as I fell on the grassy area.
I glanced at the slipper, as it was still in one place. I sighed in relief before catching a glimpse of Prince Plagg and his messager leaving.
His messager came after him as she panicked. "I can't lose my job! Are you sure that was every girl?" she asked nervously as he slowly nodded. "I'm sure," he answered before he pondered.
"I did hear someone inside, but... I think I might be going crazy," he added as this didn't help his messager.
"I guess we should get going," she said sadly as I started running. "Wait!" I yelled as my tone sounded kind, yet anxious.
His messager looked relieved as he looked up to see... Me. What will happen next? Find out in the next chapter!
