When I arrived at the tree house I climbed up the ladder and carefully stepped onto the wooden balcony. The view from the top was the most indescribably beautiful thing. I could see over the trees like I was on top of the world. I walked up to the door to find that it was locked but then I realized the key that I found would probably fit the lock. I pulled it out of my pocket and slid it into the keyhole. Just as I'd expected it was a perfect fit. I twisted it and with one click the door opened. I stepped inside cautiously testing the wood below my feet before putting all my weight on a single plank. The inside of the tree house was incredible. It looked like the work of a professional carpenter. There were various gaps to look out of to view the stunning surroundings. There were curtains and furniture placed so meticulously that it was as if somebody actually used to lived there. There was a small armchair, table and small closet type item. There was also a sleeping bag in one corner which looked like it had once been slept in. I carefully walked across to the other side of the room being sure not to fall through the floorboards. I couldn't believe how perfect the tree house was. Suddenly the old wooden door slammed shut and a massive gust of wind shook the wooden structure. I span around and felt a soft tap on my shoulder,

"Alex." A voice whispered.

"Who's there!" I called out, my voice shaking with fear.

As I slowly turned to see who was there I felt a sudden coldness seek into my flesh and then my bones. I was paralyzed, frozen with fear. The girl I had seen in my room was now face to face with me. Our noses almost touching she yelled,

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"

I ran towards the door but as I reached out for the handle she slid in front of it.

"Tell me about yourself, Alex." She whispered.

I yelled,

"Let me go, you.. you.. what are you?"

I tried to push past her but as I did so she grabbed a hold of both my wrists. Her deadly cold hands caused a crippling pain to crawl up my arms and into my hands. She looked deep into my eyes, her eyes so connected with mine it was as if she could reach into my soul and read my deepest fears like a book. Her grip drew tighter and her stance became stronger. With one extensive push she managed to create enough force to throw me backwards, away from her. I landed on my back heavily but the sheer adrenaline stopped me feeling any pain.

I scrambled to my feet and ran full speed to the demonic girl.

As I reached her I proclaimed,

"I know who you are!"

She giggled and between disturbing sounds of laughter she replied,

"Who? Who am I? Do tell me Alex."

I shuddered as she placed her hand on my shoulder. Eventually I got my words out,

"You're Halli!" I proclaimed.

She responded,

"Oh aren't you a clever one."

Her cold breathe struck my skin and her eyes continued to delve into my soul. I had never felt uncomfort on this level before. Halli continued to whisper,

"Why are you here?"
