As my mother headed towards me, I backed into the shadows praying she wouldn't see me. She wouldn't believe some story about how her own kid and a ghost swapped bodies, so there was no point in even trying to make her comprehend. She walked ever closer to me, as I drew closer into the shadows. I suddenly saw the face of myself behind her. Of course it wasn't actually me, it was Halli. But what did Halli want? It was to late to consider anything now, should I run or stay put and hide? Time was ticking away and so was my future. Eventually I decided to face up to my fears, I stepped out of the shadow that had kept me hidden and..

"AAHHHH!!" My mother yelped.

"No mum please, let me explain!" I cried.

It was too late, I'd made the wrong decision.

"What are you!!" She screamed.

I stepped forward and replied,

"I'm your child, look at me mum, please try to believe!"

She shook her head and turned around to look back at Halli.

"No, you're lying! What are you?" She murmured.

I step closer to her and whispered,

"I'm Alex and that's Halli!"

"Stop lying, you you you monster!"

I began to cry and as I did my Mother called out for my Father.

"Come quickly!" She proclaimed.

My Father rushed down the old stairs and towards me.

"What's going on here?" He asked.

"Well explain yourself!" My mother yelled looking at me.

I closed my eyes and as I opened them I shouted,

"That is an imposter, I'm Alex!! Please believe me!"

My Father shook his head, I decided there was only one thing I could do, run.

I sprinted past my parents, passed myself (I know it's confusion to even comprehend) and out into the street. I ran straight into the forrest and towards the tree house.

I didn't know what to do.. I was alone.. In the body of a ghost and nobody believed me.
