I scrambled down the ladder and sprinted towards Halli. She was fast and I was pretty out of shape so the gap between me and her was quite large.
"Don't do this!" I called out, struggling to shout whilst putting all of my effort into the chase.
I ran as fast as I could but there was no hope, I couldn't catch her. It was quite a sight, seeing myself from the perspective of another. A slightly confusing yet eye-opening experience. I continued to run until I realized that Halli had reached the front door to the house.
"STOP!" I proclaimed.
She turned to look at me and after giving me a wicked smile, she entered the house. That was it, I was stuck in the body of some ghost girl forever. I hurried to the house, I thought I could try, try to somehow convince my parents about what happened. I opened the door and peered inside. Halli was sat on the sofa next to my Mother, looking all smug with how well she'd conducted her plan. My Father however was nowhere to be seen. I slowly snuck inside and hid myself behind the door. I saw Halli and my Mother laughing, they instantly had a bond that I never seemed to have. Suddenly I heard something that made my heart pound.
"Did you hear that mum?" Halli said trying to imitate me.
"No, what was it?" My Mother replied, as she looked around.
"I think I heard something outside of the door." Halli continued.
I swiftly backed away from the door and hoped I wouldn't get spotted, as my Mother headed towards me.
