The Forgotten

Chapter Thirteen

I returned to the meeting point, where I found Halli stood there waiting for me.

"I don't want this anymore!" I shrieked.

"Take me home." I quickly added.

She shook her head and shone a wicked smile in my direction, her expression then dropped as she pointed at something behind me. I turned around and noticed the little light that I had previously seen in the forrest. Then it happened again, everything shattered, the sky dim and the world around me broken. The reoccurring event made me question my true excistiance, was I really Alex?

I awoke where I started, on the floor of the forest. My parents along with many paramedics crowded around me.

"She's back." One of them declared.

"Alex?" My Mother whispered through her hallowing cries and tear-filled, glassy eyes.

This was it I figured, the end was dawning, the hallucinations grew weaker, death became ever darker. It was time to go, to part, to say goodbye. Goodbye to Halli and the rest of the realistic visions. The reality was I had fallen, I couldn't remember how, when or why? I just knew I had. I had been falling for a while, tripping and sliding through life. Finally the cracks were to much to handle. My weak mind was beginging to take it's toll. Eventually I found myself short of breathe, gasping for air I managed to mouth my final words.

"Always remember me, I refuse to be the forgotten."

Then it was over, finally. My chapter drew to a close, and all that was left was to start a new adventure.

An adventure someplace new and brighter than before. Then it all became black, just like before. I guess they were all warnings, leading me to this moment.

The moment I say my last goodbye, close my eyes and feel the last crack in my timeline seize shut.
