"Ah'ite bro we waiting out here." Jay said, before I smiled and ran into my house.

First thing I know Duffy ran to me and began to swing his tail.

"Hey boy," I bent down to my dog and began to pat his back as he tried jumping on me. "Aye relax." I chuckled.

"I'm gon' miss yhu.."

"I bet he will too."

My ma's appeared outta nowhere. She sadly stood by the stairs and stood at me as if I was some kind of spirit.

"Ma, uhhh." I got up. "Where's pops?"

"He'on wan' ta' see yhu." She said as I shrugged. "Not jus' he does-"

"Ma." I said. "Y'all can come along, there's space in da car fo' all 3 of yous, yhu know it ain't safe fo' me down here no mo'."

"Of course dat's yo excuse."

"Ma." I said. "What would yhu rather, ah son dat's alive somewhere happy, or ah son dat's dead somewhere he used ta' be happy..wat would yhu rather ma."

Within 50 seconds of dat question, she never said anything. And this went on before she broke down into tears.

"I'on wan' ta' lose yhu baby." She said as I walked over to her and hugged her.

"Dat's why I'm keepin' ma self safe, so yhu'on lose me ma." I said. "Maybe y'all can come."

"Why would we." My pops walked down the stairs.

"Pop." I stood at him as he approached me. We stood at each other for ah few minutes before he pulled me into a hug.

"Yhu gotta go." He said

"Yeah." I said as he nodded his head.

"I've accepted yo' request." He said. "Yo ma and I will be comin' within' three days."

"Really?"

"Yeah." He responded. "But dat's after da cops come cuff yo ass and put yhu in jail."

"Wat?" I said, before he dropped his seriousness and laughed.

"I'm jus' fuckin' wit' yhu." He said. "Why would I sell ma only son." He said. "I warned da cops y'all flew over ta' Washington...which is on da other side., so I'll get goin' if I was yhu."

"Yhu promise, yhu gon' come down."

"Fo' ma only boy." He places his arm onto his chest. "I promise."

"Aye don't forget Duffy too." I said getting down on the ground and patting him. I got up and walked over to the door with them..

"Aye." Dad said as soon as I walked out. "No mo' trouble."

"No mo' trouble pops." I said once Duffy ran out.
