Thea
Life is boring.
That is what I feel like, with everything that is happening right now, all I want to do is go home and sit down on my couch with a scorching cup of milk tea.
Everyone looks down on milk tea and that get's me crazy, anyone who knows me; knows not to diss milk tea or ill pounce on them like a tiger ready to eat its prey.
Every day I scramble out of bed and rush towards the kitchen to heat up the milk. This makes me feel more awake and calm as I know I can have my cup of tea as soon as possible and I made sure I don't waste any precious time when it comes to my milk.
Being twenty and going university had changed me, not in the metaphorically way where they feel more free and alive. It has changed me as my parents aren't here to stop me from drinking as many cups of tea as I want.
I was waiting for my roommate and best friend, Melissa(Mel for short), who always takes her time to get out of her last lecture which finished before mine. We had been friends from our childhood and knowing her for so long also meant that I knew that I cant change her bad habit that drives me crazy because we are best friends and we don't change each other, we accept each other.
However, it's hard to accept her when she's ruining my precious time and slowing us down meaning I can not go home and have my tea while watching reruns of The Vampire Diaries.
Damon and Stefan, are two good-looking creatures that I will marry any day. what I would do to be Elena or Katherine - lucky idiots who ruined their chances. Katherine is honestly a badass who has the confidence and her intelligence is something I wish I could have but unfortunately, I was blessed with the ability to make any situation awkward and I am as confident as a mouse, therefore my confidence is non-existent.
I drummed my fingers along my pastel blue bicycle that had been a gift from my annoying yet amazing older brother, Saxon, who refuses to take me places because he knows I'll act weird so I can make him buy me certain things.
What a horrible brother.
"Well I can't blame him, you are crazy and manipulative," a soft yet fierce feminine voice called out to me, snapping me out of the daze I was in, I shook my head and glared at her for making me realise the truth every single time I try and act normal.
I'm weird, crazy but most of all I insanely love my milk tea and so no one comes within two miles radius of me, which is a blessing and a curse.
You can take your pick, but I definitely believe it's a curse because the only way I can talk to someone without stuttering is to dish out the facts and pummel them to the ground with my harsh words which have gotten me kicked out of many, many shops - even the dentist who never did anything wrong except mimic my British accent.
