Thea

Why am I awake?

I glared at the back of Mel's head as she woke me up to grab some chocolate for her from the supermarket - All I wanted was to lay down on the couch and watch some TV but no. Everyone decided to ruin my day today, "Thea shouldn't have a peaceful today, right? That's what everybody is aiming for today!" I cried out, looking at the cocoa coloured ceiling that had little flicks of sanguine pink at random intervals looking more like a doughnut than a ceiling.

She didn't even have a lecture till midday, so she could have bought it herself but she's too tired to even get off the couch.

Couch potato.

Mel scoffed at me, slightly annoyed by my childish behaviour, my murderous orbs looked her dead in the eye and I could see the amusement shining through them which fueled my anger farther more going from radio waves to visible light. She better be happy that it hasn't reached ultraviolet because Albert Einstein knows I'll turn lethal like the sun, burning bright and slowly ruining people's lives.

"Stop thinking of the Electromagnetic Spectrum - We haven't done that mentally scarring topic in four years, Thea. You never like science anyway so get a better way to torture me in your mind," she uttered while smiling like a fool.

My embarrassment eas evident with my hot pink cheeks that stood out against the tan skin that I thought would be a saviour but it turned out to be a disadvantage - highlighting my emotions when I'm angry, embarrassed or nervous - which happens a lot.

I rolled my eyes while placing my cold nimble fingers on top of my cheeks to get rid of the redness while swinging my backpack on my shoulder with my other hand.

"I'll buy it and come back to the apartment, okay?"

"Okay," She replied and I grinned goofily

"Awwee! We just had a Hazel and Augustus moment," while reaching for my keys - I felt a smack on my back and turned around to see that Mel had thrown one of the couch pillows on me.

"Rude!" I stuck my tongue out and ran out the door before she threw hands.

I had made it to the supermarket without any harm, making sure to walk away from the people and making sure to take walk instead of skipping as the last time I had fell face first on the ground - a scratch on my cheek as proof of my battle against gravity. A battle I had fought long and hard but I had failed, having the painful memory etched onto my skin to show that I am a failure.

I had reached the chocolate aisle which looked like heaven.  I sighed, running my hands along the delicious goodies and stopped at Mel's favourite: Hershey bars. I looked longingly at the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups that looked delectable but I only had enough money for Mel's chocolate bars.

My lips turned into a pout and I slowly moved my eyes from the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and moved away from the chocolate aisle, while my heart shattered into billion tiny pieces that were unrepairable.

I had paid for the chocolates and turned around to go back to the apartment but I had an idea.

A small smirk formed on my round face, my eyes twinkled with mischief.

It's time for revenge.
