Thea
I had sat down and waited for five minutes hoping to see Mel possibly running, which would be a miracle and a half as Mel never runs, even in our school days she would stand at the side of the tracks a new injury every week to escape running but let's see will her anger for me let the miracle take place.
I had stretched out and took out my book, Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini, and read a few paragraphs. Occasionally, I would look up to see if I can spot Mel anywhere but so far I haven't seen her yet.
I heard her before I saw her, the ground shaking scaring the crap out of me. She was power-walking towards me and I swept up and grabbed my backpack before running away. I ran the opposite way hoping to spare myself some time and repent for the sins I had committed in the twenty years I've had on Earth beofre Mel vigorously attacks me, turning me black and blue.
"THEA!" She had screamed while chasing me, her powerwalk had turned into a slight jog making me immensely proud that shes finally close to running.
I had turned back and laughed, a full-on, ear streaked face laugh that had made her turn into Hades every second that went by and as I turned my head back around to see where I was going I had hit a wall.
My eyes widened as I hit my head hard on the wall. a throbbing sensation had begun in my head, leaving me dazed. I moved a few step backs, hoping to hide my embarrassment of hitting a wall - when a throat cleared.
I'm sure it was a wall, how is it making human-like noises?
I heard a small chuckle which was hidden by a cough, my heart races as I had spoken my thoughts out loud.
I facepalmed myself, right in front of the stranger, who already thought I was crazy for talking to myself - which was an accident.
I looked up and saw the 'bad boy' of our university which I call bullshit because he looks like a regular young adult whos trying to get through university but I can't judge because I look normal but I've heard I'm not okay in the head.
Wow, that really isn't a compliment.
I had to crane my neck to look at Zayn's face, "Sorry chap, I didn't mean to bump into you," I was explaining when I heard a battle cry.
"Thea! Give me my chocolate bar you brat - before I tell Aunt Selene and Uncle Stefan!" She screamed at me, now a few feet away from me.
"You wouldn't dare, Mama would skin me alive!" I screamed back, now scared.
"I would," she smirked smugly.
"Well then, you'll never catch me alive!" I shriek, swivelling around and running away.
"Sorry again chap," I screamed at Zayn, he looked at me strangely and then smiled screaming back, "It's fine, I'm sorry too."
"Apology accepted!" I shouted back without looking, waving the Hershey bar in the air, making Mel angrier as I heard grunts behind me.
I zoomed past a clock but stopped to look at the clock hanging on the wall, 09:55 AM, I had five minutes to get to Ms Dubois' lecture room. I placed the Hershey bar on the bench, waved my hands at Mel then ran past strangers to get to my lecture on time.
