The world is ever changing, and evolving .
Everyday a scientist discovers a new virus or some new theories, every morning a new type of flower blossoms in some garden, every year a new iPhone better than the previous one comes out making the other look much less significant, every year singers and bands wait for the moment you are broke as hell for to make new music or set new tours.
Everything has to change and evolve, except one thing, it's a tradition the world wrote and created that no one can change, like the Mc Chicken on Mc Donald Menu, no one will ever remove it or change it.
This thing is Football Sunday, it doesn't matter how the weather is, if a storm is going on or if it's one of the hottest days of the year, doesn't matter if its someone's birthday or if Madonna decides to release some songs in portuguese, me and my friends will always be inside the house on Sunday, with a religious silence watching the Patriots.
"Move bitches" Michael says with his beer in his hand while he pushes Calum a little to take a seat in front of my beautiful big HD tv that I bought just for football, yeah we take this very serious.
"Don't touch my chips Calum" I say as I see in the corner of my eye that asian boy getting closer to my bowl of chips, he sighs before taking another sip of his beer and fixes his blue and red beanie."We brought some pizza and more beer" Luke yells the moment he walks inside my house with his old Patriots shirt with a bag in his hand, Michael waves at him without looking away from the tv screen, Luke waves back before then patting Calum's head afterwards he smiles at me tossing a a can of beer.
"No don't worry, you four strong guys stay on the couch while I hold heavy bags, please don't help me" I look up to our apartment door only to see Brooke struggling with some bags of food, Luke smiles at her then walks over to help her.The girl gives him a dirty look for leaving her alone, he sweetly pecks her lips to ease her tension, Oh my god, they are going to give me diabetes, but Luke seems happy with her, I would like to do that shitty stuff with Samantha too, although I don't think I'm able to do that.
"I brought a gift for Rebecca, where is she?" Luke asks with a green bag in his hand, I look around, where is the snotty?
"Snotty?" I scream, we all stay silent until her door opens and she gets out all happy and smiley.
I take a better look I notice that her hair is down and not tied in the usual ponytail, she's also not wearing one of her super ridiculous pink dressed but a big patriots shirt, wait, that's my pats shirt."How can you be this pretty my princess?" Michael asks making her laugh and blush. The little kid jumps on the green hair boy leaving a peck on his cheek and he tickles her making her laugh a little.
"Thanks uncle Mickey" She says and then she puts her eyes on Luke who's shaking the bag to catch her attention while innocently smiling at the kid who understands it's hers then runs towards him trying to take the bag making Brook laugh."No, you have to give me a kiss too, its not fair that you like uncle Michael more than me" Luke says pretending to be hurt, we all know he's not just pretending, he's a weak bitch.
The kid laughs before making a little nod to the boy letting him understand to hold her in his arms, the two meter tall boy then reaches down to her level hugging her with his pale arms taking her up with him keeping her slim and little body well folded in his arms."I love you too Luke" The kid says kissing his ass to thank him for the gift, and pecks his cheek , Luke smiles very satisfied before putting the kid on the floor handing her the gift, the little one with the same anger of a lion destroys the package and takes her gift out of the bag.
"A cap?" She asks holding the beanie of the Patriots, Luke nods before helping her put it on, the kid smiles before pretending to do a runway in front of us and Calum claps at her like a proud dad.
