"Damn it!" I gritted my teeth and kicked the enemy in front of me as i backed up, stood on my feets and pointing the gun to the enemy as i pulled the trigger, blew up the robot's head.

I breathed in and out heavily due to tiredness. "Hey CODE7 are u okay?" CODE9 asked, looking at me as he reflected from the enemy's attack he was fighting.

I can't stop thinking about what Jungkook said yesterday. I decided to fight in battle to release my stress and to forget about it but obviously, i couldn't

"Im okay" I mumbled under my breath and looking forward to the enemies in front of us. "Ugh!" I ran forward to where they were and attacked them right away.

I lied down on the dusty ground, placed an arm on my forehead while looking up to the virtual sky.

"You seems off, why?" CODE9 asked as he approached me. "Nothing" I closed my eyes. "It's amazing you fought much more enemies than before. But your actions and reactions show that u have something on your mind, like bothering you"

"I'm practicing on killing someone" I smiled in annoyance and saw CODE9 was slowly stepping away from me. "Yah!" I sat up, makes him surprised. "W-whom are u going to kill?" He asked.

"A guy" i formed my hand to a fist. "Is it me? im a guy too you know" He became so scared. "dont be stupid, i wont kill you. Besides, im just joking, there's no way im going to kill someone" I scoffed and stood up.

"Let's go" I said and he nodded "Where are the earrings i gave you?"

"I have it with me" I said, and the moment we stepped out from the battle area, the earrings appeared. "I keep it during battles because i dont want it to be in my way while fighting.. No.. I dont want to lose it actually" I smiled weakly and held the right earring.

He couldn't see my smile, which somehow makes me feel relieved. He saw my emotion light but he didn't say anything and just sighed before he chuckled

"That's an ease thing to hear" He said before he walked away, followed by me.

We went to the forest, to visit Grandpa and CODE20, when we arrived, we saw no one except Grandpa.

"Where is CODE20?" i asked, looking around while placong down a plate full with blueberries i picked on our way here just now. "He is out to choose new weapons"

"ah.." I nodded as an okay sign then be seated on the bench seat, while CODE9 went to see the plants in the tree house.

Suddenly i heard Grandpa sighed so loud, "Grandpa are u okay?" I asked, concerning about him. "Im okay but my patient is not" He shook his head. I stood up and walked to him, held his shoulder.

"What's the matter?"

"I forgot to ask CODE20 to get me some of this plant in the purple forest, im too slow to avoid the purple colour in the forest so im afraid to go. The potion needs this plant to complete"

"Purple forest?"

He nodded. "I guess my level is high enough to face the colour in the purple forest. I will get it, wait here" I walked to the door to get down. But before i did, i told CODE9 about it

When i jumped down to the ground safely, out of sudden CODE9 did the same. "I wont let you go alone. I will come along" He said excitedly.

"This is a purple forest, it's dangerous"

"Dont forget, my level is about the same as yours"

That's right.. Before i could realise it, his level ranked up and almost the same as mine but mine was higher than him. He must've fought to get those levels.

"Do what you want. but dont blame me if something happens to you" I pointed to him and both of us walked to the purple forest.

On our way, CODE9 asked
"I heard grandpa said something aboht slow and purple colour. What does he mean?" He asked.

"If you get hit by the colour, the spot will be numb for a day"

"O....kay let's go home it's time for dinner!" CODE9 said cheerfully and turned around but i stopped him and pulled him back to continue our walking.

"Dont u dare, you are halfway already.  Didn't u want to come along so bad?"

"B-but.. you are alone- ugh i hate myself sometimes" CODE9 mumbled under his breath and groaned slightly.
