(LARA'S POV)

the moment i woke up, i called out for Jungkook but he wasn't there anymore. I pressed my smartwatch that dad bought for me to tells the time and it spoken

"4p.m"

Did i really.. sleep that long?? It's a shocking thing but well, maybe i am too tired.

I took out my phone and speed dialing Jungkook's number.

It was beeping for a long time and finally another beep before the call ended. It was irritating but i didn't give up and just call him again, that's the moment when the call ended again and i heard his voice

"Wakey wakey sleeping beauty"
He said as i imagined him standing by the door. "You are not going home yet?" I asked weirdly.

"Nope, just now your mom asked me to help her lift some boxes since your dad went out. Im so tired--"

My mouth opened a bit "D-did she ask anything? Or maybe tell you anything or being mad or.."

I was afraid because just now we were togetger, listening to songs and holy shi-

I blushed right away when remembered about it and cover my face "Hey you kid at least concern about my sore arm, you slept on my shoulder and i can't move at all"

I smiled awkwardly and asked "Im sorry, are u okay?"

The moment i asked, i received a laugh from him and he sat next to me on the bed "No worried im strong. Letting a sweet but sad lady sleeping on my shoulder is not a bother"

I suddenly became annoyed and sighed. "Is this your real behaviour? Admiring yourself?"

"We need to do it so no one can't bring us down. Long time ago, i was a skinny guy, too straight no sixpacks and else. My face was not mainly, as they provoked and mocked me, saying that im gay and weak" He chuckled.

"You must be so cute back then" I mumbled under my breath. "Yup, and now im much mainly and handsomeness takes over" I can feel him getting closer to me.

"H-hey i need some opinions.. from a guy" I cleared my throat. He sighed "and what is that?"

"If someone makes you sad, what will you do? Because the last time, i disappeared just like that" i shrugged. He started to think and answered my question "I will go again and ask the person, if it's true about anything that makes u sad"

This suddenly opened my heart t OK make me enter the game again to find CODE9 but.. it's the right thing to do.. isn't it?

"Do u want to meet the guy now? i guess i will be home tonight because your mom invited me for dinner" Jungkook said. "A-ah yes but maybe later or maybe after u go home"

I smiled a bit and stood up then went to the bathroom to wash my face then went downstairs to help mom.

Jungkook and dad were sitting in the living room, watching the tv while talking about the business things. I was afraid that Jungkook will be disturbed by those questions related to works since he's still young but all i can hear was laughter.

"Seems like Jungkook is close with your dad" Mom chuckled while i sat on the chair. "I hope so"

During the dinner, Jungkook heloed me getting the foods and did everything to help me, like he replaced mom already.

"Thank you" was the only thing that i can tell him that time.

After he went home, i lied down and was thinking through about meeting CODE9 again. Will he be there? Last time i stabbed myself and left him there alone. What will he says to me when i meet him?

I wasted 20 minutes of thinking and finally decided to meet CODE9 again to ask about the truth. I just can't lose my friend like that.

I entered the game again but only to see him, not to play anymore because i wasn't in mood to play

The moment i stepoed onto the virtual ground, i looked around hoping that he would be there but i was wrong. He won't just appear like that

I wanted to send him a message and that's when i realised there's a message too.

'where are you? What happened to you? dont make me worried like this please'

I was shocked to see that, it's like unexpected for him to send me those messages. Does he really worried about me or he is just..

I shook my head, trying to shrug of those negative thinking.

'I need to meet you' I sent to him and wait at the park, sitting on the clean grass. It took few minutes which i thought that he won't reply but he did.

'Im here, where are you?'

My hand were stuttering to reply him

'At the park in district 2'

'Okay! Wait there please dont go anywhere'
