Many ideas circled around on what we should do, it took fairly too long to finally decide what to do.

The plan was simple (sort of): we would round up all the remaining members of the coven and bring them vault on the other side of the den, inclosed in the vault are cameras and microphones so we could hear, see and communicate with the intruders. The only challenge was getting everyone there safely.

Since I was the most susceptible to life threatening injuries, I was to go first with the company of Christian and Alexander, and no matter what we were not to turn back.

I knew Gideon made them promise to protect me and to stop me if tried to turn back.

"Be safe" Gideon calls to me as I walk out the door. I look back at him and smile
"I will." And then he's gone.

Everything is unnervingly quiet.

The sound of the door being locked, makes me jump

"We need to move." Christian says behind me.

I nod, and we begin our journey. The lights have been shut off, for Christian and Alexander it doesn't matter, even though it's dangerous I pull out my small flash light.
I don't know the exact path, so Alexander leads us and Christian takes up the rear.

When we turn the corner we run into our first human, the worst part is I recognize him

"Marcus."

He stares at me, neither of us move

"Oh hey Katie, sorry about your friends."

He says smirking. Before he can even take one step, a bullet in lodged in his chest.

I'm more angry then upset

"Let's go."
I say stepping over Marcus' body.

We don't run into any other humans until we reach the vault, they knew we were coming, they were waiting for us.

"Well, well, well if it isn't the traitor." One of the says to me

"Why are you doing this?" I ask.

The human in the left steps forward, Christian pulls up his holster, but I hold up my hand before he shoots.

"He's unarmed, it's not right." Looking at all of them I realize non of them do
"It's what they want, if we kill them when their unarmed we look like the bad guys."

Christian immediately puts down his gun.

"We don't want to hurt you." I begin "We just want peace."

The humans look at each other, then back at us

"I'm sorry" one of them says
"We can't let you by." He looks genuinely sorry. He then presses a button on his side, it's a walky-talky
"There here."

Footsteps race up the halls behind us, we can't run.

Twenty humans come from all sides

"Where's your leader?" One asks.

I shake my head. I really don't know

"No idea, we got split up." I say.

The human walks up to me and Alexander gives him a threatening gaze
"I won't ask again, where is he?"

"I told you, I don't know." I respond.

The human slaps me across the face. Christian advances on him, throwing him to the ground.

"Peace gentlemen!" We all turn and see Gideon.
