Soon I started to walk closer to the school. As soon as I reached the two huge doors the the main hall I stopped for a second. Just thinking about how this year might actually be different.

From the windows in the front of the school, I could tell that the main hall was full of people. I walked through the double doors with so much hope, but it was all wrecked when everyone grew silent, stared at me, and pushed up against the lockers. I kept walking with my backpack strap on one of my shoulders.

All that was going through my mind was; everything was going to be the same, if not worse. I walked up to my locker and nobody moved. "Please move this is my

locker", I said in the nicest voice possible. They stood there looking almost excited to know where my locker was. They still didn't move. It was the same people who had bullied me and my only friend Lizzie last year; James, Derek, and Donny. I wasnt going to let them get to me like she let them get to her.

Lizzie was my only friend last year and she now goes to a high school in Washington. She moved after the bullying got worse and it wasn't just those three boys, it was all of the popular girls too. It wrecked her selfconfidence. She cared about everyones opinion. That was the difference between her and me.

Nothing was off to a good start. I already wanted to go home and I haven't even gone through first period. Not that "home" was any better. At this point, I wasn't sure where I would rather be. Everything had changed.

After roughly thirty seconds I decided to take my bag to class. I walked to my first period science. I realized that there were foot clunks behind me. I turned around to find the three boys but they had Jane with them. Jane was basically the queen of the school and everyone bowed down to her. All of a sudden Jane grabbed the hood of my sweatshirt and dragged me into the girls bathroom. She shoved me right into the papertowel holder and smacked me really hard. "Ow , what was that for?", I screamed rite in her face.

"You tried to make them move. Nobody makes them move! You of all people should know not to try to make any of us move. We are better than you and dont forget that." Jane screamed. She let go and ran out before I could come up with a reasonable response.

For a few minutes I just sat there trying to figure out what she meant by that. As usual, angry people didn't make any sense whatsoever. As I kept thinking she never really made any sense so I tried to brush that off.

I walked slowly and cautiously out of the girls bathroom and peered down the hallway. Nobody I should worry about. Realizing that I was clear for a few minutes I didn't want to push it so I sped to my first period.

Finally I arrived at the doorway of J2. When I opened the door I saw that that nobody in this class was a freshman. This was a senior class. "Really? My first day of high school and somebody has already switched my schedule? The three amigos and their queen are off to a wonderful start," I whispered softly under my breath. "To the office I guess.".
