The adventures of Nova

The adventure begins

It was a normal day Nova was just hanging out with her bestie Laekyn. "Hey Lae, Do you think there's something else out there in the world?" Nova asks. "I don't know like what?" Lae answers. "Like dragons, princesses, warriors, stuff like that." "Maybe, but where would that be?" "I don't know like across the earth maybe." "Even if there was anything how would we get there?" "Planes, cars, boats, scooters there's many ways to get there." "Well how could we pay for that?" Lae asks. "I've saved a lot of money in my piggy bank over the years." "Sure like what a hundred dollars?" "Lets see." Nova goes to her closet and takes out a Batman piggy bank. She opens it and a butt lode of cash falls out. "What the hell?!" Lae yells. "Woah." They spend half an hour counting it. "I have over a million dollars!" Nova yells.  Nova looks at Lae with meaning in her eyes. "We have the cash." Nova says trying to convince Lae. "Now what do we pack to wear?" Lae asks convinced. "Stuff for every temperature." Nova says excitedly. After about an hour of packing their all ready. "Let's go!" Nova says grinning from ear to ear. "Where do we go?" Lae asks. "Where no one ever goes." Nova says grinning. "You don't mean." Lae asks. "Yes I do." Nova says confidently. They go to the airport buy their tickets and get on the plane. "Flight 109 leaves in five minuets." The flight attendant says over the speakers. "That's us!" Nova says as she and Lae go on the plane. On the way there Nova was imagining what it's like there. She thought there might be goblins warriors queens and kings everything that she dreamed of. Once they got there they got off the plane and went outside and took in a breathe of fresh air. "Ohh, scooters!" Lae points out. They get some cheap scooters and we start to head south. "It's so beautiful out here." Nova points out. "I know it's like my dreams." Lae replies. "Wanna take a break before that bridge?" Nova asks pointing to a bridge in the distance. "Sure why not. We don't want to be tired when the 'trolls' challenge us." Lae uses air quotes. Nova laughs takes off her helmet and sits down. She starts to look at the clouds. Nova sees one that looks like a troll and another that looks like a fairy. "Do you see those?" Nova asks. "Ya, that's cool." Lae looks up too. "That one looks like a bunch of animals and that one looks like warriors!" Lae points out. "They do!" Nova exclaims. After a couple minutes they start to go to the bridge. "We're almost there." When they get there something scares them. "What're you doing here?!" Someone snarls. "Who's that?" Nova asks. "Your worst nightmare!" They yell. "Really?" Nova asks in her sassy voice. "Yes!" They growl. "Then come out." She smirks. "Are you sure?" They ask. "Of course." She grins. A HUGE troll comes out from under the bridge. "Woah." Nova and Lae's jaws are literally on the ground. "What?" The troll asks. "I've never seen a troll before!" Nova exclaims while circling him. He growls. "Are you new around here or something?" He asks. "Umm very new." Lae says. "What's your name?" Nova asks. "Reid." "Cool name." Nova says. "Thanks." Reid blushes. "So do we need to answer some sort of riddle?" Lae asks. "No. But." "But What?" Nova asks. "Can I join you guys?" Reid asks. "Why not?" Nova says. "Wait Wait Wait Nova, we just met him and he's a troll." Lae says. "So?" "It's your death." "Will you kill us?" Nova asks Reid. "No." He says bluntly. "I think he's good." Nova says. "Fine." Lae agrees. All of a sudden Reid turns into a normal guy with messy blonde hair and blue eyes. "Woah." Nova and Lae say at the same time. "Hot." Nova mumbles. "Wait you look like- never mind." "Thank you!" Reid exclaims and hugs Nova. "Are you magic or something?" Lae asks. "No just got a curse put on me." He says. "By who." Nova questions. "She who can't be named." "Who the hell is that?" Lae says wanting answers. "The queen of music. No one knows her real name." Reid answers. "That's sketchy as shit." Nova blurts out. "I know right." Reid says. At that moment they both realize Lae's gone. "Lae?" Nova calls out. Nova and Reid see her and she winks at them. They both blush every shade of red. "So, it got dark out really fast." Reid points out. "Ya we should get some rest." Nova says. They both talk all the way back to their camp. "Night." Nova grins. "Night." Reid smiles.
