PrinceOfHearts' POV

We went to the mall. Kelli wanted to drive so she had picked me up. I didn't know why she wanted me to go to the mall with her, she always said she hated shopping unless it was for video games. However as soon as we walked in I knew exactly why we were there. Everywhere there were signs for homecoming sales. She smiled as we walked around, but I racked my head for a way to ask her. We went in and out of stores but didn't really get anything. She clung close to my side the whole time and I couldn't have been happier. She really did make me happy. I loved her so much. I loved Grace. I loved Kelli. I loved her anxiety. I loved everything about her. She caught me looking at her and smiled. I did too, then leaned down and kissed her.

"Thank you for letting my drive."

"I didn't care how we were getting here Kelli, I was just so happy you suggested going out somewhere. I know how nervous you get."

She blushed a little. "You make me less nervous though." I leaned down and kissed her head.

"I'm glad. I want you to feel comfortable around me."

"I knew it." She smiled to herself.

"Knew what?"

"That we would be good together. The guys called me crazy...but I was right."

"I believe I called you crazy at one point too. You were pretty hung up on me." I teased.

"Yeah but now you are in love with me."

"Crazy in love."

"Speaking of being crazy, I'm crazy hungry. Do you want to get some food?"

"Of course. Do you want to eat here or go somewhere?"

"We can eat here."

"You want Subway don't you?"

She smiled a guilty smile. "Maybe."

"Come on, turkey sandwich it is."

"Yay!!" She cheered. It was still insane to me that she didn't know how beautiful she was. She was wearing the same outfit she was wearing the day I kissed her the first time. The day I met Kelli. The real Kelli. The one that fainted. I smiled at the thought. "What are you smiling about?"

"The fact that you literally fainted when I kissed you."

"For your information that was a horrific experence for me. You should never just grab someone and kiss them without warning." She teased me.

"I was trying to be romatic."

"I would classify that as a critical fail."

"You really build up my confidence baby."

"It's what I'm here for."

We got our food and headed to a table. The food court was exploding with noise but Kelli didn't seemed bothered by it. She looked, for the first time, at peace. I hadn't known her for long but she never looked this clam. She wasn't hunching over or playing with her lip. Her arms weren't crossed, she looked so amazing. I wanted to shout to the world how lucky I was. But we ate in silence.

"I am so full." Kelli said after shoving down her last cookie.

"You ate more than I've ever seen you eat."

"It wasn't that much."

"A footlong, a bag of chips, and three cookies...I'm in awe."

She giggled. "I told you, you make me less nervous."
