"i cant believe you actually came" Ashton says laughing at my displeasure. I growl.

"i had no choice."

"why did you not want to go so badly? Chelsea said its everyone you know from school" Luke asks me. Turning to look as we walk from where we all park our cars to the field the Bonfire is always held in.

"ya that's exactly why I didn't want to come." i grumble.

"don't mind Michael Luke, he never comes to this because we don't really get along with any of the people here." i snort.

"or really, everyone but Ash and Cal hate me." i say. Luke looks at me confused.

"why?" he asks. "Chelsea seams really cool." He cocks his head. i laugh, of course.

"of course she does. until she decides that you're not worth any of her time and makes everyone else hate you." i say. glaring at the ground and walking faster forward so i can get away from this conversation. I mean Ash and Cal already know my history with the people here but Luke, I've known Luke for a day.

"oh look, the loser decided to show up" I hear Chelsea as soon as i walk into hearing range of the people already around a roaring fire.

"leave me alone Chelsea, i'm only here because you asked Luke to come." i mumble and plop myself down on a log far away from anyone else.

"Luke's here!?" she asks excitedly. quickly tossing her hair and unbuttoning her shirt to show more. i scoff,desperate much?

"Hey Chelsea" I hear Luke say as he and my two best friends make there way over.

"Luke! you made it! come here i want you to meet everyone" She quickly grabs a hold of Luke's arm and starts to drag him around, introducing him to all her friends.

"this is totally just going to be a night of us enjoying the fire and everyone else enjoying Luke isn't it?" Ash asks as he and Cal sit down next to me. i scoff and nod.

"Probably. I mean he's famous, of course Chelsea is going to gloat about meeting him first. i'm sorry we had to ruin your date." i say apologetically, looking between the two of them. they smile.

"Mikey, it doesn't matter. we came here for us not for them. who cares if all the attention is on Luke, that just means that they will leave us alone." Ash reassures me.

"ya, Mikey, we don't care. i mean watching Chelsea and her friends throw themselves at him is hilarious." Calum agrees with Ash, pointing to the group of girls standing around Luke and flirting with him. he seems to be enjoying it.

"it is funny" i laugh. "i mean, i'm no expert but, when you meet someone famous aren't you at least supposed to act like a normal human being? they don't even seem to be trying." i say, making the other two laugh.

"I know right. the guys are so jealous right now" Ashton laughs and points to the group of the guys that got left out when the girls realized who Luke was.

"hey guys wanna get this party started!?" Someone yells making all the others cheer. it's about time someone broke out the drinks. i think. taking a beer from the cooler that is being passed around.

After some time of drunken conversation someone starts to ask Luke questions and everyone seems to bring their attention to him.

"why are you here? didn't you have a tour in New York?" someone asks. Luke nods scoffing.

"i did. got in trouble and since my mom is still my manager she got mad and shipped me off here." he scoffs.

"so what happened to the shows you were supposed to be playing?"
