"come on Levi, lets go play some music" i say to my dog as he follows me to the old hay barn about 50 yards from the stables. I always come here for privacy, this is my quiet place to write and play. I flop myself down on the hay and Levy lays down beside me.
"it's been a long day huh bud?" i sigh, petting his head, then putting my guitar in my lap. After Luke left at lunch i haven't seen him since. not that i was really looking for him though. I can't blame him for getting mad either. I can never imagine what he's going through, i'm not famous. I know it's wishful thinking that at the end of his punishment he will want to stay here and give up the life of a rock star, but i Love him, i cant deny it anymore. I always have, and i probably always will, no matter how much of an ass he is and how long were apart for. He will never wan't to stay here.
I get lost in my thoughts of Luke and realize I've been just sitting here daydreaming for almost an hour.
"what do you say Levi? what song?" i ask the dog that's quietly sleeping beside me. "Dirty Laundry it is" i say to myself and start to strum it. i loved this song the second it was released.

I then decide to try to finish the song i started last month. it's called "Don't Let Me Go"(An: this is a Summer Set song. For the sake of the story, unless said that i's a cover, Michael and Luke have written them.)

I sigh, placing the guitar in the hay next to me, laying my head back and closing my eyes.

I'm startled out of my sleep by Levi barking erratically. I yawn and rub the sleep from my eyes.
"what is it bud?" i ask groggily, looking up to find him from where i'm laying on the ground. when my vision becomes clear my eyes widen. The barn is quickly filling with black smoke and orange flames lick at the walls.
"Levi!" I shout frantically for him, stumbling to stand while my lungs are being assaulted by the soot i can't help but breath in.
"Levi!" I shout again, cutting myself off with a violent cough. I'm frantically searching for both my dog and a way out but my body is frozen, the flack backs of fear from that night 7 years ago have rendered by body useless. i'm actually frozen with fear. Then Levi shows up, he's still barking loudly but he's running back and forth from me to the exit and back again. at one point he grabs a hold of my sleeve and pulls, that snaps my body out of its frozen state and i am able to stumble to the door. The walk to the door is agonizing, what should only take seconds feels like hours as i try to drag by body through the smoke and flames.
"please Levi, go" I cough, trying to push him out of the quickly deteriorating barn. but he's stubborn as a mule and stays with me, letting me grab a hold of his fur as he pulls me to the exit. i'm crawling now, my body too weak to stand.
"Go levi!" I shout at him, trying to cover my face from the soot and burning flames.
"GO!" i shout, shoving him out the door just in time for a burning beam to fall from the ceiling and narrowly miss him. I don't realize that the beam that I thought missed both of us when it fell had only missed Levi, when i try to crawl away only o be pinned to the floor by one of my legs. mu lungs are filling with smoke and i can feel the much needed oxygen quickly escaping and taking my consciousness with it.
