"So let me get this straight, you just met Mr. Jeon and he says he wants to play with you, and then you just meet Mr. Taehyung and you kiss him" I said still quite shocked while Jennifer just nodded silently.
"Well its not like you could judge, I'm not the one lip-locking with my patients" she said smugly and I glared at her, "that was one time and not my fault either".
My face flushed and she just laughed at me. I slightly regret telling her about that small but shocking kiss. We had long finished our coffees and we were just sitting there, laughing at each other's misfortune.
"So obviously you like Taehyung, so are you going to tell Jungkook to back off?" I asked sincerely curious about her little love triangle. "Well that's my dilemma, I like Taehyung and I like Jungkook, I don't know who I like more"
I raised my eyebrows and sacked in my lips, "I had the same dilemma once....I couldn't decide whether I wanted a German Shepherd or my Australian Shepherd" I said and she cocked her head to the side. "How did you choose?".
"I picked up a quarter and told myself if I get head I'll take the German Shepherd home, tails I'll take the Australian Shepherd," I looked at her and smiled a little bit "but when I tossed the coin, I found myself hoping for tails" I explained and Jennifer quickly pulled out a quarter.
"Taehyung is heads, and Jungkook is tails....here goes nothing" she said and flipped it perfectly. It was like time slowed down and every single flip in the air was another year flashing by, and it felt like a century before it finally started to come down.
It smashed into the table violently and spun on its rim, a few times before stopping.
Stopping exactly on its rim.
Standing straight up.
Neither heads, nor tails.
Both of us stared at the quarter with shock clearly our only emotion beside confusion, "forget the fact that this is scientifically impossible, just tell me who did you want it to land on?"
Jennifer looked over at me, blue eyes dull yet shinning, "I wasn't hoping for just one of them, I was hoping for both of them"
Third person povKim Taehyung is a handsome man, and he knew it, but he wasn't cocky. Playful? Yes. Cocky? Not his style.
However when he went back to work after taking Jennifer Black, the new doctor, out for a cup of coffee, he had the hugest smile on his face. A smile that attracted the asylums very own sun, Jung Hoseok, immediately.
"What happened to you?" Hoseok asked instantly, wondering if that doctor, Kim Seokjin, had told another dad joke. "Nothing" Taehyung answered blushing slightly as the doctor and patient walked side by side like best friends.
"Oh please, you look like you got lucky in a broom closet"
Taehyung had gotten used to Hoseoks bluntness a long time ago, so when he said that Taehyung didn't flinch. "I did get lucky," he started and blushed immensely "but not the way you're thinking".
Hoseok frowns when he adds the last statment, to him getting "lucky" meant only one thing. But then again he has been in the asylum since he was 16, he still has the brain of a horny teenager, while Taehyung is mature.
"Then how exactly did you get lucky?" He asked as they started walking past patient rooms, slowly making their way down the hall. To say Hoseok was confused would be an understantement.
"Your definition of getting lucky is clearly different from mine" Hoseok said elbowing Taehyung gently in the side.
The blush never leaves Taehyung's face, as he stopped. Coincidentally, right in front of Jeon Jungkook's room.
The silent hallways made them whisper but it didn't matter. One noisy rabbit heard everything. And he was pissed.
"Clearly," Taehyung mused before going to explain himself. "There's a new doctor here, Jennifer Black, and I've liked her for a few days now...yesterday she was distraught, so I took her out for some coffee to calm her....and she kissed me" Taehyung said playing with the pockets of his lab coat.
Hoseok smiled at Taehyung, he guesses that is kind of lucky. The smile on Taehyung was contagious and it spread to Hoseok, but the frown on Jungkook's face was dark and evil.
Jennifer knew that he wanted her, and yet she went around kissing other men. Only for those men to "accidentally" wander in front of his room and boast about it.
She was taunting him, testing him. This was a dangerous game, a game that would end badly, for both participants.
He stocked around his room, snarling loudly to himself as the men walked away. He knew the voices, he knew it was Kim Taehyung and Jung Hoseok. He was mad at both of them, more Taehyung than Hoseok.
But he was even angrier at Jennifer, angry that she would do this to him, break his heart in two. And damn does that woman have 'perfect' timing.
Jennifer walked into the room a minute after the boys left. Jungkook was fuming, anger radiating off of him as he glared at her.
Not noticing the hostile vibes, Jennifer smiled at him and pulled out a couple bags of carrots. "So our last meeting was a little strange but I think we can get over that" Jennifer said as she walked further into the room.
He stopped pacing around the room, and stared at her. He let out a growl that could pass off as an actual animal. It made Jennifer freeze in her tracks. "Get out".
The shock on her face, it was hilarious to him, and yet it angered him even more. She didn't even move to leave, simply because of how shocked she is.
He moved towards her and growled again. "I said get out, go kiss your little boyfriend" Jungkook snarled and she finally realized what the was about.
"Jungkook I didn't mean for that to happen, it's just happened- wait why am I explaining this to you, we're not dating" she mused as he rolled his eyes at her.
"But I wish we were, so choose, me or Taehyung"
"Both"
