                    Jennifer pov.
The drive to the hospital was long, the traffic backed up, bumper to bumper. I think I might have broke my horn, because of how many times I slammed my hand down on it. Didn't these people understand that I was in a hurry.

I shoved people out of my way as I ran into the lobby of the hospital, people yelling at me or muttering about how youth these days are so disrespectful. I didn't even bother responding to them, not when my friend's condition was still unknown to me.

The front desk was empty, but there was a bell thing there, so I pressed it repeatedly, until an annoyed old lady poked her head out of the room behind the desk.

"I'm on break"

I basically snarled at her response, "I don't give a rats ass if your on break" I said and she opened her mouth to yell at me, but I interrupted her. "Tell me what room Alyson Jones is in, or I'll go find someone who can" I said not leaving any room for discussion.

She cracked her fingers before typing on the keyboard, each of her bright orange finger nails clicking against the keys. "Room 283, but there is no visitors allowed right now" she said and I pushed away from the front desk and ran towards the boring, grey, elevator.

Pressing the second floor button, the elevator music started playing and I tapped my longish nails against the metal rails.

In those few moments I had to think, my mind went crazy with theories.

What could have happened? I swear if this girl just has a splinter, I'll be pissed. But what if its something serious. I know she was driving home after she dropped off Jimin back at the asylum, could she have gotten in a car accident.

God dammit, why didn't I ask Taehyung what happened.

The elevator opened and I rushed threw it, hitting my shoulders on the doors as I left, people staring at me like I was a mad woman. "Hey! Walk don't run" a woman yelled at me and I didn't even turn when I responded. "Hey! Why don't you mind your own freaking business".

I had a bit of an adittude today.

I stopped in front of room 283, and I held my breath for a second before reaching for the handle. "Wait! Don't go in there" I heard and I turned to see a doctor rushing towards me. "Why not? I was told that my friend, Alyson Jones, was in this room" I said and I glanced at the clipboard in his hands, only catching Alyson's name at the top, before he angled it away from my view.

"Are you Jennifer Black?" He asked and I nodded, why can't he just tell me why I can't go into Alyson's room. Sympathy flooded his face before he spoke again.

"I'm sorry"

                    Alyson pov.

I covered my ears, the beeping ringing in my head as Mina walked away from me laughing, her laugh echoing off the invisible walls, "Welcome to your new life bitch".

I squeezed my eyes shut hoping to shut out the noise, but when the beeping faded to a complete stop and I opened my eyes, I was in a hospital. Standing in the corner, facing the wall. That's not weird at all. I heard people all around me, talking and rushing around.

When I turned around, I jumped at the sight of a nurse right in front if me, folding ripped clothes and stuffing them in a plastic bag. "Hey, can you tell me why I'm here?" I asked, but she didn't even look at me.

Rude much.

I was about to ask again, when I saw the headphones in her ear so I just shrugged it off, she must be having a bad day. I looked around and I saw that was in the middle of the lobby now. Everyone hustling around me, paying no mind to anyone else they were around. I turned around and around, looking for someone to help me, but everyone were pedestrians. I need a doctor.

I walked down the hallway, memorizing the room numbers, 256....257...258. Suddenly a doctor emerged from room 259, a man with platinum blonde hair. He walked the opposite way of me, his white lab coat swishing behind him as he marched along.

"Hey! Excuse me"

He didn't even turn, his steps not faltering in the slightest as he moved to his next destination. I started walking faster trying to catch up to him, only for him to disappear into a room.

Room 283.

I'll just wait out here for him to come back out. Or wait for another doctor to appear. Since he went into the room, thats means their is a patient in there, it would be an invasion of privacy if I wandered in. I stared at the room number for a long time, occasionally glancing down the halls for a spare doctor, this one was taking forever.

"Open the door Alyson"

Mina's voice sounded in my head, and I nearly clawed my own hair out when I gripped my head.

Is this what it was like to be crazy?

I shook my head, I'm the one in control of my body and mind, I don't answer to Mina, she doesn't tell me what to do. "But is that really true sweetie?" She sounded again and I shut my eyes again.

"Open the door Alyson, you know you want to"

She wasn't wrong, I did want to know, I felt as if that door was the only thing in my way, keeping me from my answers.

So I made my decision, and I reached for the handle, only for the door to be ripped open. The doctor stood there for a moment, writing down some things in a clipboard. I was frozen, I was definitely going to get yelled at.

My frown deepened though, when he didn't even look at me and walked away, leaving the door open slightly. I turned to follow him but something was holding me back.

"Go into the room"

My feet didn't listen to me anymore, and I walked into the room. So much for she doesn't control me.

It was a plain room, grey and white, but unlike the other open doored rooms, the bed wasn't empty.

In the bed was a girl, the covers pulled up past her face, only her brown hair showed. I was mortified that the doctor would leave her like that, and I moved to the bottom of the bed.

"Honey are you okay?" I asked but didn't get an answer, she must be asleep. Its not good to sleep with the covers over your face though.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to move them for her.

I got closer and noticed that it didn't look like she was moving, or even breathing.

I gripped the covers and yanked them back, a huge scream escaped my lips when I did though.

She wasn't alive.

That's why she wasn't breathing or moving.

But the biggest problem, was that I knew her.

I was her.

I'm dead.
