                    Third person

Doctors and nurses ran everywhere wildly, hands covered in blood. People were yelling all around, one person controlled the gurney while the other put pressure on the wound.

"She is losing so much blood doctor, she needs immediate surgery" a nurse said lifting her hand a bit to peek at the wound only for blood to squirt out of the woman like a stained red water fountain.

"I need a scalpel, scissors and tweezers, the bullet didn't go clean through it broke into pieces" Doctor Martinez said as they moved the limp woman onto the surgery table. "How did this happen?" He asked as he cut the woman's shirt open with the scissors and sliced open the woman's stomach with the scalpel so he could get the bullet fragments out.

"Shooting on a roof, the bullet ricocheted off of metal and lodged itself into her left ribs" a nurse said as the woman started to wake up while Doctor Martinez was digging around trying to find the first fragment.

"Hold her still, put her under quickly" he said as she started screaming and thrashing around. A nurse forced a clear mask over her nose and mouth, instructing the woman to take deep breaths.

Doctor Martinez pulled the tweezers out of the woman's side, a bullet fragment caught between them. "One down, many to go" he said before sending a nurse out to speak with whoever brought the shot woman in.

Gabe, the sent nurse, waked out of the surgical room and towards the shaken woman who drove the shot woman in. "I need you to calm down, do you know who that woman is?" He asked and was visibly relieved when the woman nodded.

"She's my best friend, Jennifer Black"

    ~Flashback (two days back)~
                     Miriam pov.

When Estrella burst into the room and told me what Ginger had found out, I was instantly convinced that Brian killed Mina. We told the guards we were done as we left, and I called up a judge I knew in elementary school and she said that she could squeeze us in for a quick trial sometime this week.

By the time we left the prison it was already time for us to go home, so I told the officer to just take us to my house. Walking into that house, and seeing my fiancé, Cole, waiting for me made my day better.

I told him everything about today when Estrella cut in and said "you do know what this means right?". I shrugged and said the first thing that came to mind, "time to break out the good booze?" I asked and she laughed but shook her head.

"No, it's time to apologize to that Dr. Jones for invading her personal life" she said and Cole nodded his head, ebony hair flopping into his gorgeous face. "I agree with Ella on this one" Cole said as I still got out the good booze. "Fine, I'll go tomorrow" I said and they took the bottle of bourbon away from me, "No, now".

So that's how I found myself outside of Autumn Leaves Asylum grumbling to myself as I walked up the steps. I didn't like it here, it smelled like bleach and crazy people, how do crazy people smell exactly? Crazy, they just smell crazy.

I glanced at the lobby counter and saw Aria August, she wouldn't know what a smile was if it hit her in the face. Maybe that's why she is single and I'm getting married.

She didn't say anything when I passed her without signing in, she was too busy glaring at anyone who approached her, I'm surprised she still has a desk job, or any job.

I had the way to Alyson's office memorized but I didn't want to intrude again so I stopped a woman I always see around her, Jennifer Black, and asked where she was. Turns out she wasn't in her office, but with a certain Park Jimin.

I resisted the urge to shutter at the disgusting possibilities of what they might be doing all alone in his room as I walked. I knocked on his door twice before backing away, just in time for the door to open slowly as Alyson popped her head out.

Her face contorted in confusion but soon lit up in recognition as she fully stepped out of the room. "Detective, what can I do for you?" She asked as she put on a smile, I returned one.

"I came to apologize for invading your personal life and interrogating you in your office the other day" I said and she nodded. I was telling the truth, I was sorry for ambushing her like that, but I couldn't help but feel like she is hiding something.

Maybe Estrella is right, maybe I am going crazy.

"And to tell you that Mina's murderer has been identified and caught" I added with pride, even though she was the one who gave us the intell.

"Would it be too much to ask who it was that killed that woman?" She asked as she crossed her arms as she took in the new information, I knew I should refuse but she would find out soon enough anyway. "It was Brian, you were right" I said and she gave me another smile before glancing back at Jimin's room.

"Thank you dectective, but if it's alright with you, I have to get back to work" she said and I felt guilty again since I bothered her at work again. I gave her a smile and started to walk away as she closed the door.

Suddenly I stopped, I could hear Alyson speaking along side a males voice, Jimin obviously, but the conversation was choppy. It sounded as if they were speaking to a third party, one that I simply wasn't hearing, like a phonecall. But I could hear their side.

"Did you hear that Mina, it was Brian after all" I heard Alyson say and I nearly choked on my own spit, did she just say Mina. As in Mina Meyers, my very much dead victim.

I backed up almost all the way so I could kind of see through the small window that was on Jimin's door, both Alyson and Jimin were sitting on the bed side by side, no phone in sight, staring at the wall.

"Mina, It's okay, he isn't going to get out anytime soon" Jimin said to the wall as Alyson nodded before reaching out towards the wall and seemed to reach for someone's hand and hold it.

I backed away from the door quietly while blinking rapidly, this doctor was crazy. A crazy person trying to cure another crazy person of their craziness.

I was right, she was hiding something.

And now all I have to do, is get proof.
