Opening the door to my house, I slammed my keys onto the dusty keyrack, and made my way into the living room. A soft yip sounded as I made my way in and soon Bella, my Australian Shepherd, was following me around excitedly.

I grabbed my computer off the couch and placed it onto the dinner table. Bella layed down by my feet while I turned it on, my head still spinning from my day at work.

The laughter playing on repeat.

It made me wonder if I was going crazy too, maybe I spent too much time with all my crazy's and I'm starting to go crazy also.

Only, I know I'm not going crazy, I would know, I have a masters degree in this. So I should know the signs.

I scratched my head before typing in something that I never thought i would type in.

Can people see ghosts?

I nearly snorted out loud when millions and millions of things popped up about seeing ghosts. Mostly stuff about people who were special or chosen by God. Given a gift to help people reach the beyond.

What am I doing with my life? I'm a doctor, trained to lock the crazy people away and kick the sane ones to the curb. So why is a trained mental doctor looking up ghost, who knows.

Mr. Park must have gotten into my head, somehow, someway.

Wait, if this Mina character was actually dead, than wouldn't there be a record of her death somewhere. Something that said that this person was real, but all I had to go on was a lake and a name.

Well I guess it wont hurt to try and look for this mystery woman who chooses to haunt my patient.

Woman drowns in lake

Thousands of results popped up but non of the women who drowned matched Mr. Parks description.

Woman drowns in lake behind Stonehaven

Nothing popped up, not even an ad. Only a few sentences saying to search again or try to word things differently.

Dead woman found at Stonehaven.

Nothing.

Dead body found near Stonehaven.

Nothing.

Stonehaven.

Only then did I get something to pop up, a picture of a huge house showed up. I clicked on the link for it and in big bold letters it read Stonehaven Manor. Beautiful house and the best part about it, it was being sold.

The landowners are having a walk-in this whole week for anyone interested in the house. The only problem was it was a toured walk-in, no wandering off and it said nothing about a lake.

Backing out of the link I clicked on, I returned to the search bar.

Stonehaven lake.

Many links popped up, I clicked on the first one that had the most views on it.

A picture popped up and my jaw almost dropped, the water was filthy and black as night. Tearing my eyes away from the horror film looking lake, I scrolled down only to be stopped after a single sentences. Nine words for a whole link.

Stay clear of Stonehaven lake, black stands for death.

Shaking my head I backed out of that link and clicked on the next, only for another picture to pop up, this one further away so you could see more of the hideous lake. I stared at the picture longer than the last one, only to frown and lean closer.

There was a silhouette in the trees, shaped as a woman. I leaned a little closer before realizing that there was a second picture below this one.

I scrolled down and looked at the same spot that the silhouette was, only this time there was three, one large one and two small ones that appeared to be holding hands.

This picture gave me chills. It looked as if they staring right at the camera, posing for their picture. Only it felt as if they weren't staring at the camera but through the picture they were in and into my soul.

I was so concentrated on the freaky pictures of the three creepers, that I didn't notice Bella sneaking into the kitchen and digging into the trashcan.

I did notice though when she tipped it over and an empty jar of jelly smashed onto the ground, successfully scaring me away from my computer.

Ok enough conspiracy theories for one night and enough being scared.

                      Next day

"And this is the living room..." the tour lady said as we walked around the house. We were near the beginning of the tour and I was waiting for a moment to sneak away from the crowd.

Everyone shuffled into the living room and spread out while she told us the history of the house, only once did she mention the lake, but she said it was too far away to tour today.

"Now if you will follow me upstairs, I'll show you the bedrooms" she said as everyone shuffled around towards the stairs.

After letting a few people go in front of me, I was able to sneak away from the group and towards the back door that leads towards the forest behind.

I quickly and soundlessly sneak into the back yard and rush over to the edged of the woods and didn't hesitate to run in.

I didn't know where I was going but I hoped that I would find it soon since the tour would be over soon, and I'm not sure I could explain why I disappeared from the tour if everyone on the tour was gone.

The forest was beautiful during the day, the sun shined bright through the trees and created a picture perfect reality. Only I've never liked the forest, I could get lost, and I probably already am lost.

I was looking up at the trees when I tripped on something and fell down a small hill and landed on my hands and knees in something wet. I jerked back in surprise before seeing the black water that I was kneeling in.

I found it, the lake, I found it.

And disgusting, it was even worse in person than in the pictures. It smelled like rotted fish, and old used socks.

Yet something dominated all those other rotten smells, and it smelled severely rotten and it seemed to come from the water.

I cringed slightly as I moved deeper into the water, getting my pants wet. A few bubbles came up before something else came up with it.

The horrible smell intensified when it came up, and I inched closer, while holding my breath.

A scream ripped and forced its way out of my throat when I saw what it was. I fell backwards on my butt and turned, frantically crawled my way out of the lake, trying desperately to keep the water out of my mouth.

For two reasons, one the water was as black and dirty as water could get.

And two, because a dead body just floated up.
