If I was going to be honest, I didn't want to return to work today. Mr. Park didn't seem to like me and this Mina girl wants me to scream for her.

I finally understand why all those doctors quit, Mr. Park was definitely a handful. Only he seemed so calm and relaxed until Mina showed up, then he got nervous.

I spent all last night trying to think of ways to explain to myself what was wrong with him. There were so many possibilities thought, too many to correctly diagnosis him this soon.

It could be Schizophrenia, dementia, peduncular hallucinosis, there are just too many and they all are very serious. I flipped threw the file for a brain scan but there wasn't one.

Walking out of my office and down into the main lobby, I made my way towards Janet Jackson, our records keeper. "Hey Mrs. Jackson, I think I'm missing a page from my patients file, Mr. Park should have had a brain scan"

She nodded before typing away at her computer, "im sorry Ms. Jones it appears that Mr. Parks parents didn't allow the doctors to conduct a brain scan" she said and I groaned.

It's crucial that every patient gets a brain scan so the doctors know where the problems are. I thanked her and started back up to my office when I heard my name being called.

Mr. Min walked up to me with a small smile on his face, along with a young blonde woman with bright blue eyes. "Good morning Yoongi, how are you?" I asked and he replied that he was fine. "Alyson this is Jennifer Black, our new doctor, would you mind showing her to her patients room?"

"Of course, who is your patient?" I asked as Yoongi walked away. "Mr. Jeon Jungkook" she said and I looked at her before giving her a once over.

"Is this your first time working with the mentally unstable Ms. Black" I asked and she nodded as we started walking. "Starting off with a challenge then I see, I suggest we stop by the cafeteria then, Mr. Jeon loves his carrots"

She looked confused at my statement, both about the challenge and the carrots. "Why would I need to bring carrots?" She asked and I chuckled "because Mr. Jeon sometimes thinks he is a bunny, so you might get nibbled on"

She looked slightly disturbed but then again, this is a place specifically for the disturbed.

After getting at least 10 mini carrot bags, I showed Ms. Black to Mr. Jeon's room. "Feed him the carrots first, not all of them, and then go in" I told her before I go to my own fluff ball of crazy.

I unlocked the door, holding Mr. Parks pills in one hand and my notebook in the other. "Good morning Mr. Park how are you?" I asked as he stared at me with a blank expression.

He never answered me as I closed the door. I pulled over my chair and gave him a small smile "so last time you told me about your friend, Mina, can you tell me about the first time you saw her?"

He gripped Chimmy tightly for a second before looking back at me "the first time I saw Mina, was at my family's lake". I nodded writing down what he said as he stared down at Chimmy.

"Did you just see her randomly or was she doing something" I asked him before he looked towards the window "she was drowning, and I did nothing to save her" he said before he got up and stood in the middle of the room sulking.

"They haunt me because I didn't save her"

They. He said they. Plural, more than one, more than Mina.

"They?" I asked and he nodded before looking at me with sad eyes. "Her children, twins, Mina didn't return home and they starved to death"

Hearing him talk about Mina and her children made me almost cringe, he really believed that they were real.

"Were they the children that you heard laughing?" I asked and he nodded "they were laughing at me"

He sounded so much like a child at that moment, so much so that I moved to sit beside him. "Do they always laugh at you?"

"Only when I tell them to go away"

"Do they? Go away I mean. Do they go away sometimes?" I asked and he nodded slightly before looking at me with tired eyes. "They come and go as they please"

He looked at the wall quickly before sending me a worried glance. "Mina doesn't like how close you are to me right now" he said and I glanced at the wall before giving him a small smile.

"They can't hurt you, can they?" I asked thinking that like any normal imaginary friends, they can't touch you. "Mina tried to drown me once" he said before pulling up his sleeves to reveal was looked like scratch marks "They say I did them myself, but it was the twins, Jack and April".

He looked genuinely scared so I moved away from him and sat back down on my chair. I glanced at the pills and then gave them to him. After so many years here, he learned to swallow pills dry.

"Mina says its time for you to go, the twins want to play" he said as a sinister look took over his face, he smiled at me so big that his eyes were completely shut and I could see all his teeth. It wasn't a cute smile on him.

I stood up and walked towards the door, "Good night Mr. Park" I said and turned to go out, only to stop and turn. I looked directly at the spot that Mr. Park talks to "Good night Mina, good night Jack and April".

I closed the door with a small bang and locked it, just as Ms. Black came out of Mr. Jeon's room. "How was your first day" I asked her and she held up her hands full of empty baby carrot bags. "It took four bags of these just to get through the door".

I let out a laugh as we walked away. Suddenly another laugh broke out and it wasn't from us, Ms. Black didn't seem to hear it but I did. It came from Mr. Parks room, and it wasn't that fact that it came from his room that gave me chills. It was the type of laugh that did.

It was children's laughter.
