~16~Clara began fo suit up while the others did the same. Her suit had been upgraded to a sort of sleeveless jumpsuit. The material was a dark shade of grey, close to black. Her boots, shoulder pads, and a thin but protective chest plate were a deep shade of maroon to match her blasters when activated. She had gun holsters on both sides, as a last resort. She pulled on her black leather jacket where an embroidered 'A' rested on her shoulder. She braided her hair, a few wisps here and there, but it was no issue. She looked in the mirrors and tilted her head. She looked at her reflection, the reflection of somebody she never would have imagined. With one lady glance of her room before turning out the light, she met the eyes of her father. A photograph of her family stared at her, almost as if they were watching over her.
"Are you ready?" Steve asked as he heard her approaching the jet. He looked up for her response, suddenly in awe at her in her new suit. She nodded a yes and took her spot on the jet. He watched as she walked past him before turning back and hiding a smile.
"Stop staring Cap," Tony patted Steve's shoulder as he walked passed him. Steve shook his head out of his trance before boarding the jet and taking off towards Sokovia.

"Shit!" Clara heard Tony so over his ear peace. She was to busy fighting Hydra agents to care about what he did. She fired at an oncoming solider, stunning him and making him fall over into the snow. She mentally thanked herself for wearing a few layers because she was close to freezing her ass off.
"Language!" Steve said, riding his motorcycle through the woods. Clara knew that wasn't going to blow over. "JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?"
"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other Hydra base we've taken." JARVIS replied.
"Loki's scepter must be here," Thor stated. "Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it. At long last."
"At long last is lasting a little long, boys." Natasha smirked.
"Yeah. I think we lost the element of surprise." Clint said, firing arrows at anyone who approached him that wasn't wearing a colorful suit.
"Wait a second," Tony asked, soaring over the city. "No one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said 'language?'" Tony said. There it was.
"I know," He came up to where Clara was fighting. She dunked as Steve threw his motorcycle at the upcoming car about to hit her. "It just slipped out," Clara gave a quick nod, thanking him, before she shot her blasters at another soldier. While fighting, Clara saw blue streaks surrounding her.
What the hell? She hid behind a nearby tree for cover, peaking over her shoulder to see if she could see the blue streaks again. When she came out to shoot at the bunker, she was pushed off her feet. She looked up to see a man with light blond hair and a blue track suit smirking down at her. "You didn't see that coming?" He asked before running away again. Steve saw her and quickly ran to help her up.
"What was that?" He asked.
"It was a guy." She huffed, trying to catch her breath. "Enhanced."
"C'mon, lets go." The two fought along side each other, using their weapons to aid each other in taking down the agents.
"Clint's hit!" Natasha said through the comms.
"Tony, we really need to get inside." Clara told her brother after kicking a guy in his stomach.
"I'm closing in." Tony said as Clara shot a soldier in the chest. Thor joined them, helping Steve and Clara take down the soldiers. "Drawbridge is down, people." Tony said.
