Thanks (Zhask x Ruby)

This is a continuation of the RoShin fluff, but after the wedding and such.

I might write an extension to the RoShin if you want me to do so. Basically the party after the wedding, so I can pour all my extra-ness into. Is that entertaining??? I dunno.

But Zhask x Ruby has grown on meeee and I must write it.

Ruby's POV

I sat staring at the bouquet of flowers I received from the wedding. I've already put them in a vase on my table to hopefully make it last. I know that it's probably not lucky and my chances of finding love are not increased. But the thought of having it there as a charm is nice and it gives me a glimmer of hope.

After Zhask handed me the bouquet he sort of disappeared. It was odd, I wanted to thank him, but I couldn't find him for the rest of the duration of the party.

It's been a few days and I'm still trying to figure out how to go to him to tell him 'thank you'. It's sounds simple, but I can't seem to muster up the courage.

I stood in the back when Yi Sun-Shin threw the bouquet. The crowd was mainly taller females too. So, when Zhask caught it, those girls who are way above average in strength looked so ready to beat him to the ground. He handed the bouquet to me and gave the crowd of girls such a daring look, he was like asking them to attack.

I can still imagine it so clearly. The way he spoke, daring them to come at him or to come at me. But as he spoke he seemed to be standing in front of me protectively? Or was it just from my perspective from being short? Either way, when he handed the bouquet to me, it gave me such a warming feeling. It sort of tingled, thinking about it I feel hot, suffocatingly hot.

Shaking my head I get up. Upon removing the thoughts from my head I touch the petals of the flowers gently. I can't help but smile a bit looking at them, why? I don't know, but I should really thank Zhask soon...actually, I don't know when he lives...should I ask Yi Sun-Shin...?

I sigh, no way, he's on his honey moon and is more than likely busy with Roger. Who else knows everyone?

Hmm...Argus and Zhask are sort of close, but Argus isn't very approachable...Nana's a bit too nosy about everyone's business...but I don't blame her, it's just how she is. Angela is fairly neutral on all this. I think that'll be fine, if not, I guess my option would be Nana.

I sigh, Angela better know...

"H-hello...?"

"Keke, yes?" That's Angela for sure...

"Can I ask you for a favor...?"

"Well of course, Ruby! What is it?"

"Wait, how'd you know it was me?"

"Keke, I have my ways!~." I sigh. Don't ask, don't ask, don't ask.

"Okay then...so, I was wondering...do you know where Zhask lives...?"

"Well of course!"

"That's great, can you tell me where he lives...?"

"Ah...why do you need to know Ruby?"

"I-I just need to tell him something."

"Oh well, I can't tell you unless I have permission from Zhask or daddy, I can't break the rules." I imagine Angela calling Zhask and telling him that I want to know his address and if I have permission to and silently cringe.

"A-ah...yeah...is there no way for you to make an exception...?"

"No, sorry. Rules are rules!" I sigh. Dang it Angela!
