In the silence of the room, only the sound of pencil hitting paper rings.

Ruby's POV

I woke up and looked over to see Alucard sleeping, I smiled and adjusted onto my side to look at him directly. I laid there silently, studying the details of his face as he slept.

His face looked a lot softer, his hair splayed out in a way that just seems too perfect, his mouth slightly open as he breathed in and out steadily. I noticed a bit of drool at the corner of his mouth and couldn't help but laugh a little. How cute...

He stirred a little and I silenced myself immediately, I didn't want to wake him up. I slowly raised my hand up to his hair to touch it, I stroked his hair gently and it seemed to coax him back to his peaceful sleep. I couldn't help but smile at how childlike it was.

I continued laying in our bed as I continued to stroke his hair gently. He opened his eyes slowly as they were still full of sleep. He smiled at the sight of me, "Morning...~" I smiled and greeted him back.

He sat up and stretched out his long limbs then looked over at me, "So what would you like to do today? I'm free for anything you'd like." I smiled and shrugged, "Anything is fine." He smiled brightly and fell back into bed.

"If you say so~" With a smile he pulled me into a tight embrace. I laughed and returned his embrace.

We continued talking the morning away, it was simple but blissful and nice.

These thoughts are nice.
