My eyes fluttered open.
I wished they wouldn't.
I'm attached to multiple needles and tubes, sitting lifelessly on a old decayed mattress. My head sits on a pillow of straw. I didn't even want to be here. I shouldn't be here.

She tentatively smiles at me and makes her way to where I rest.
"N-N-Nathaniel? What happened to you?
Rolling my eyes and scoffing at her, I turn my head to the other direction not bothering to spare her a glance.
"Why do you care princess? GET OUT !" I bellow out.
Startled and panicked she flees from my room.
