Amit sat under the gulmohar tree in his garden, the same spot where Aarya had sat the first time they hung out. That seemed like centuries ago and yet it had only been 3months. As the sun started rising it filled the canvas called sky with beautiful shades of scarlet.
Music blared from his headphones as sun started rising from it's slumber, he However had been up for hours. He wasn't never really a morning person and usually his mom had to drag him out of bed Every morning. As soon as she would step out of his room he would slump right back in to savour those last minutes of his sleep. Everyone who ever has to get up early everyday knows the essential worth of those minutes.

He remembered once when Aarya told him how the cool winds blowing at Dawn
always helped her to think. He had decided to try it but without any success till now.

He had been up all night thinking about how to get dev and aarya to like each other. But before that he needed to stop his feelings for Aarya . As long as she would spend time with him , he couldn't help but falling for her. Shutting her out won't be an option. He had spent time long enough with her to know that she wasn't the kind of girl who would gives up on you easily besides it would be really hard, he won't last two days. No he had to think up of something else. He kept thinking when suddenly an idea struck him. It was insane and a lot of things could go wrong but he had to try.

Two hours later he was standing in front of a large cream coloured house." What the hell was I thinking? This got to be one of the worst ideas I ever came up with", he muttered under his breath. still unsure of himself he rang the bell. it was a little too late to back out now as he stood there waiting for someone to answer the door.

A few seconds later the door cracked open and vidushi stood in front of him still in her night dress. she was wearing white shorts with an oversized full sleeves t-shirt. her hair were tied back in a messy bun with loose strands off hair falling over her face.

she folded her arms as she looked at him. "Is it a dream or is Amit Bhagat really standing in front of me on a Sunday morning", she asked mocking him.

"It's not like  I spend the whole Sunday   sleeping". he said defensively.

" yup ! usually it's till noon before you wake up and i have already called you like ten times till then", she said still staring at him , teasing him.  she always teased  him like this and he always fell for it.

"come on in", she said after a while. "tell me what mess did you get yourself in this time".

he followed her inside,"does it have to be because of a mess?".
Vidushi understood him like no one else could she was his go-to person, one whom he could count on no matter whatever the situation.

"You are at my house, 8am on a Sunday morning.she replied giving him a Do-i-have-to-add-anything-else look.
"Can't I just be at your place to hangout or something",he said trying one last time.

"You run away like you have seen a ghost Everytime I invite you over",she replied twisting the doorknob of her room.
Vidushi's room was like every teenager's.  Totally messy yet it managed to look sophisticated. The ceiling had lyrics of her favorite songs written all over it. The walls were plastered with the posters of all the K-pop groups you could think of with BTS dominating the rest. In one corner was her study table with a laptop lying over it.

"So what's the deal banana boy?",she asked him sitting on the bed cross legged.
Amit loved eating bananas like he was head over heels in love with it and since the first time vidushi got to know this, she started calling him that.

He crashed down on a bean bag besides the bed and took a deep breath, thinking about what to say.
After a few seconds,he Began. He told her everything about dev, Aarya and him.
Vidushi didn't disturb him once. She was a good listener and a pro at giving pep talks. Except for a few occasional nods there weren't any reactions from her. When he was done she finally spoke.

"So just to make it clear, dev and aarya hate each other".
"Uh huh!".

"But they like each other's online versions".
"Uh huh!".

"Also you like Aarya, but you need Aarya​ to like dev so that he gets back to being normal?"
She was again met with a nod.

"I didn't think, I would ever say this but I actually have a newfound respect for you. You are giving up the girl you like for your brother".

"Whatever", he just replied nonchalantly.

"So my plan is that all six of us, you, me , Ved, sunaina,dev and aarya go on a camping trip for a weekend. Maybe if they spend some time together, they might start to bond and realize each other", he finished looking at her, waiting for a reply.

"Your plan's good but even if we get both of them to come to the trip , which mind you is going to be really hard considering their past meetings. How are you going to stop Aarya from getting closer to you?".
Vidushi replied after a carefully thought  analysis.

"That's where you step in".        
Vidushi​ just shot him back a puzzled look.
"Will you be my girlfriend?".
