Cassandra was to be let out of hospital due to her 'overwhelming improvement' in the last few months. she recived her weekly visit from Michelle and was informed by her doctor to tell her the brilliant news! Only to Cassie, it wasn't "brilliant news." She had to go back into that place she hated. The life she hated. She had become content with her life in the hospital and now going back into the real world frightened her.
Michelle arrived and saw Cassie sitting at her favourite bench. She sat down next to her and cleared her throat. Cassie looked up at Michelle and flashed her a delighted smile when she realises it's her. Michelle gave Cassie a quick smile back and glanced down at the violet and pink tulips in the flower bed next to her.
They had a casual conversation like usual, Michelle giving updates on people that Cassie had never met. She spoke about herself and Tony. Cassie listened along, nodding her head and trying her best to act interested in something she had no interest in at all. Michelle had new friends now. Tonys friends. Cassie knew who they all were, they were Tony Stonem's friends after all. It's hard not to know them. After she finished her story about how Chris took too many viagra. There was a brief minute of silence.
"I'm getting out Chelle..." Cassie sighed.
"What? That's great news! When will you be coming home?"
She said, lifting her head up and looking into Cassies muddy brown eyes.
"Tomorrow." She bluntly replied.
"Is that a bad thing, Cass?"
She said confused, hearing the sadness in her voice, also seeing The blank expression on her face.
"No, it's great. It's lovely, wow. I'm so happy."
She flashed Michelle a beautifully convincing, wide toothed smile which she matched with the tilt of her head. Of course, Michelle fell for her act and smiled back and kissed her cheek as she stood up. Cassie was proud of how Beautifully preformed that was.
"I'll see you tomorrow then? There's a party. Everyone's going. It'll be great for you to meet everyone at last!"
"Sure, I'll be there."
Michelle started to walk away but quickly turned round to face Cassie again.
"Oh Cass. One more thing, I have a friend. His names Sid. I think you'd like him. Are you up for meeting him?"
"Sid Jenkins?"
Cassie replied while twirling her bouncy, blonde hair round her fingers.
"That's the one."
"I like Sid. He's lovely."
