Chapter Thirty.

Normani's POV

Why are black people the worst people to make plans with? Nothing goes right when you plan with your people. You start off with a plan and your clear with the instructions. And the day you set your plan in motion, there's that one motherfucker in the bunch who ruins everything. Nolan and I devised a plan and set some simple rules for everyone to follow.

Wanna take a guess on who screwed up?

Y/N and I are having date night tonight but at the same time Nolan and our crew is gonna take Dwayne and his crew out. Noelle is gonna pose as me and in the middle of our date I'm gonna slid out and meet up with Nolan. Noelle is gonna pose as me and finish off the date with Y/N. After the deed is done, we switch out and that'll be the end of everything.

I told Y/N that I would meet Y/N at the restaurant because I wanted to surprise him. The real reason I told him to go ahead is because I'm meeting up with Nolan and the crew to go over the plan one more time. I got into the car with Noelle and we met Nolan at the spot. We got out of the car and walked into the spot where Nolan and Timmy were waiting on us. But there was an unwanted guess there.

"What the fuck is Choie doing here?" Noelle asked.

"Hey I tried to get here to stay home but she wouldn't listen to me." Timmy said.

"Whatever you're about to do I want in on it." Choie said.

I rolled my eyes and ran my fingers through my curls, "Choie take your ass home and don't breath a word to anybody about this."

"No, if something is about to go down I wanna help." Choie said.

"Hell no! Choie I love you and everything but this is some serious shit. We can't have any slips ups. So I'm gonna call you an Uber, you're gonna go back home, and you're gonna keep that big ass mouth of yours shut." I said.

I got on my phone and called an Uber for Choie then escorted her outside. I made sure she got in the Uber before going back inside with everyone.

"Now that we've gotten that out of the way. Let's run through this plan one more time." I said.

"Alright. Normani's gonna go and have her date with my brother. Halfway through the date she's gonna go meet up with Dwayne and tell him that's she's down to work with him again. While that's going on Noelle is gonna pose as you and take over the date. When Dwayne and his boys walk out of the spot we open fire on their ass and the deed is done. We meet up around the corner so we can get rid of everything. After that we remain lowkey until this shit blows over." Nolan said.

"What about security?" Timmy asked.

"Dwayne always has five guys with him. He drives in the first car while his boys are in the second car. All of them are armed." I said.

"The spot they're meeting up at has no security cameras and there aren't any cameras on the street either. On the next street over there's one but I can control it with my burner phone." Nolan said.

I took a deep breath and looked around, "Y'all aren't having any second thoughts are you?" I asked.

"Everything is good over here." Noelle said.

"Alright, let's do it." I said.

"Hold up. Before you guys go further here are some earpieces to keep use connected because cellphones are too risky." Nolan said.

Nolan helped everyone get hooked up with their mic packs and we did a quick check to make sure everything was working. Once we were equipped with the tools we needed we went our separate ways. I parked my car outside of the restaurant and went inside, I described Y/N to the hostess and she took me back to where he was. I walked over to him and kissed his cheek. "I tried calling and texting but you didn't answer." He said.
