When Jin heard knocking on his dorm room door, he had a brief moment of heart stopping panic. He was going on a date with Namjoon, and he hadn't even bothered to brush his hair! He was wearing the same pink hoodie that he wore almost every day, and he had forgotten to do laundry, so this was the second day in his faded navy blue jeans.

He brushed his hair in record time, and decided that he had to make due with the rest.

"Namjoon!" He swung the door open and slammed it behind him. "I'd invite you in, but my room is a mess. You look stunning, by the way."

It was true. He wore a simple back T-shirt and jeans, but he somehow managed to pull it off fantastically. But really-Namjoon could wear a onesie and look beautiful.

"You too," Namjoon gushed.

Jin rolled his eyes in disbelief. "Are you blind? I'm not even close to my prime handsomeness and you know it."

Namjoon held his hand. "Maybe not, but you look beautiful anyway. Shall we get going, my prince?"

"That was cheesier than that sandwich you made for me."

"Give me some credit. It just came to me."

"You're hopeless," Jin pulled his boyfriend along, "But the prince thing made me blush, so I guess it's working."

"Ha! Score one for Kim Namjoon."

The field was empty when they arrived. The only sound that could be heard was their own breathing, and the crickets chirping in the outskirts of the woods. The grass was dry and soft, so it was comfortable when they lied down.

Hands interlaced, they stared up at the sky above. There wasn't a single cloud blocking them from the twinkling stars. Namjoon was aware of the sky, but he was much more aware of Jin's hand entwined in his. The stars were beautiful, but...

I like this feeling a lot more.

"So, Jin," He began, "If we end up rooming together, what should our place be like?"

"Hmm...well, it might be the same place I'm in now...but probably not. We should have a decent TV, and we can bring my gaming system," Jin answered, "I can give you some cooking lessons, and you'll be a master chef in no time?"

"A master chef? Really?"

"No," He laughed, and Namjoon pushed him. "But you'll do just fine with me as your mentor. We could save space by sharing a bed."

Namjoon teared his gaze from the sky and turned his head to face Jin. "'Save space'? Really?"

"You don't want to?"

"Of course I want to," He kissed his cheek, "We'll have dated long enough by then."

"Right," Jin smirked, "We don't want to be improper, now do we?"

"We're anything but improper, that's for sure."

A long silence followed. It was a comfortable silence, for they felt completely at ease with each other. Both felt that they could lie like this together forever. They could fall asleep and wake up among the stars, just the two of them, and nothing would be wrong with that.

At that very moment, they needed nothing in the world but each other.

Namjoon's story of young love was far from complete, and he knew it. There was still so much more out there beyond his library. Maybe, just maybe, as long as he was with Seokjin, there would be nothing but starry skies ahead.

More than anything, Jin wanted to be a part of Namjoon's love story. He knew that nothing could last forever, but he hoped that they'd be a part of each other's life for a long time. He was in love with him, almost too much to bear, but it didn't bother him in the slightest. He had Namjoon, and Namjoon had him. For as long as it would last, he was content. Jin knew he had made no mistake in talking to that beautiful boy in the library.

"Jin?"

"Hmm?"

"I'm really glad this happened. Jin, I'm so lucky to be falling in love with you. I'm seriously the luckiest guy alive. So...thank you."

Jin turned around and kissed him. It was long, yet loving and chaste.

"I'm the lucky one, you dork. But seriously, you too. I'm falling in love with you, and it's honestly the greatest feeling in the world. You and me...I think we're going to be just fine."

"Me, too."

They only left the place when the night grew too cold for them to stay. They walked each other back home, talking about the most random things, just like they always do.

Who knew what the future held? Who even wanted to guess?

They had the library. They had each other. They had a whole world just waiting to be discovered.

And that...

That was enough.
