Only a few more weeks and I'm out of here, Namjoon told himself, as he told himself every Monday. I'll be free to do exactly as I please, so long as I go to college. And speaking of, when the hell am I getting my acceptance letters? Assuming I get accepted anywhere...

"Namjoon, I'm completely done with YA fiction; I can't handle the heartbreak," Jin rambled, storming into the library after school."

"Let me guess: you finished Eleanor and Park?"

"They were in love!" He wailed.

"They were young and in love," Namjoon reasoned.

Jin glared at him. "Does that make love any less wonderful?"

He held his hands up in surrender. "No way. Point taken."

Jin sat down next to him and looked over his shoulder. "I see you're writing something."

"Yeah. It's about having a crush."

He smirked. "Hmm. Do you speak from experience?"

"Not at all," He replied without missing a beat.

"That could change any time."

"Not with you, though."

Jin rested his head in his hand. "Oh, I'm sure."

Namjoon raised his eyebrows. "Was that sarcasm?"

They sat side by side for awhile, Namjoon writing while Jin mindlessly scrolled through his phone. He began to grow drowsy, and before Namjoon could react, Jin had fallen asleep on his shoulder.

Instinct told him to shuffle, or wake him up, but...he looked so peaceful, he couldn't bring himself to do it. It felt warm, having him against his shoulder. And soft.

He's the one with the huge shoulders, shouldn't I be falling asleep on him? Namjoon caught himself thinking. Ah, whatever. It's sort of cute, for what it's worth.

A part of him didn't want to wake Jin up. He wanted to fall asleep against him and wake up when the library opened the next day. Boundaries were boundaries, however, and they were just friends.

"Jin," He shook him gently. "Jin, It's time to wake up. The library closes soon."

"Nooo," He whined softly, nuzzling into Namjoon's shoulder. "You're warm..."

"I-I bet I am," He blushed. "But you have to wake up."

"Mmmm...fine," Jin groaned. He sat up and stretched his arms. "Let's get going."

After the parted ways, Namjoon couldn't force the heat away from his cheeks. This was too much. Jin pressed against him, sleeping soundly (And adorably, by the way) was something that he was completely unprepared for and not even close to used to.

If he had gone back in time, however, he wouldn't have changed a thing. Jin sleeping against him gave him what so many stories had called "butterflies". He had never experienced them before, and it made him almost giddy, like he was blushing on the inside as well on the outside.

This must be so easy for Jin. He just slept on my shoulder with no problem. He's a puzzle as always...

That, of course, was something Namjoon was absolutely wrong about. On the other side of town, Jin was replaying the scene over and over again in his mind. He hadn't meant to fall asleep on Namjoon, but it felt so natural when he did.

He had thought nothing of it until much later, when it sunk in that he had fallen asleep on Namjoon. The handsome boy he'd had a small crush on since he saw him in the library for the first time, until he talked to him and realized that it wasn't a small crush at all. It was a real crush.

It was more important to make friends with him, he reasoned. Namjoon most likely wanted nothing to do with him romantically, and though it hurt a bit, it was fine. His friendship was enough.

What had happened mere minutes before was not something a friend would do.

He must think I'm coming on too strong! Jin fretted. He doesn't even like me that much!

I'll be the first to admit, though...it felt right.
