"Good, good, keep your knees bent" Jamie entered the camp to see Dwalin training Lizzy to use a sword, while Kili taught Daisy to use a bow. Along with Bofur setting up targets for her to practice with. "Your back!" bilbo exclaimed, the two girls stopped their training and ran over to their friend. "Where did you go?" "just down to the creek to get a drink" "well you must have been thirst cause you were gone for a full 20 minutes!" Daisy exclaimed, the friends laughed. "We must be moving on!" Thorin exclaimed "who put you in charge?" Legolas asked "he's king of Erebor, and leader of this company. Your just a prince so leave him be!" both Lizzy and Daisy said. For Thorin was one of their favorites out of the group. Everyone did look a bit surprised, but Thorin eventually smiled at them. So the group gathered their things and moved on, "you forgot this" Lizzy turned in surprise to see Kili. He held her ring, it was golden with two intertwined snakes, both with emerald eyes. "Thanks you" she quickly took it replacing it on her finger, "where did you get it?" "I was found on the doorstep of an orphanage, and this was found with me" Lizzy explained. Kili looked at her with sad eyes, "so you never knew your parents" Lizzy shook her head, "I don't know what I would do of I didn't know my mother" Kili stated as they walked. "What's it like to have a mother?" "they love you, treat you like your the most important person in the world, and they do their best to protect you, try to give you a happy life" Kili smiled thinking of his mother. He missed her dearly. "It took a great deal of convincing from Thorin, so that my mother would allow me and Fili to go on these adventures" Kili explained. Kili was about to say more, but Legolas stepped into walk with them. "Where did you get that ring?" Legolas, your a bloody elf. Therefor I know you heard the entire conversation" Lizzy stated sternly. "It looks like one from a legend I heard of" "what did it say?" Kili asked. "Lord Elrond had a daughter once, when she was only a few months old Rivendell was under attack, so Lord Elrond sent her away to keep her safe. She was sent with the queens ring, her powers would return to her when she reached the age 18" Legolas explained. "Lizzy how old are you?" "I'm 17, turning 18 in three weeks" she replied. Before their conversation was interrupted by the howl of a warg, "Orc pack, run!" Throin yelled.

They ran as fast as their legs could carry them, poor Bombur was so scared he ran so fast that he passed almost everyone. Though they put forth their best, it was not good enough. The wargs caught up to them, their riders shooting their arrows. "Kili, Daisy shoot them down!" Thorin yelled. The two turned and began to fire their arrows, Lizzy wanted to help her friend. So she did a back flip of a tree landing a on warg, she sliced off the head of the Orc before brining out her sword driving it into the skull of the warg. Legolas also turned and began to fire arrows, "give me a boost" Lizzy yelled running towards him. Legolas knelt down and Lizzy stepped into his hand as he lifted her into the air, and she landed on another warg. "Where is Gandalf?" yelled Bofur "the wizard has abandoned us!" Gloin yelled killing another Orc. "Over here you fools!" they turned to see Gandalf standing at the entrance of a cave, everyone bolted for it. As they ran a warg came up behind Fili, arrow ready to be fired. "Fili!" screamed Lizzy, she shoved him out of the way just in time, but the arrow pierced her instead. Legolas turned in time to see what had happened, he fired an arrow killing the Orc and then another to kill the warg. He ran over and helped Fili carry her into the cave. They slid down the muddy path, the arrow broke leaving it's head inside Lizzy's side. "I'm, I'm fine" she said as Oin came over to help her. "No your not lass, you need medical attention" Dwalin said with a worried expression, Lizzy smiled faintly at him. "I'm going to have to pull it out, and it will hurt" Lizzy nodded, the look of fear quite clear in her eyes. "Hold my hand" Fili whispered kneeling down beside her, he held her close making her look away. Lizzy's cry of pain filled the cave as Oin removed the arrow head. He then continued to clean and bandage the wound, "why did you do that?" Fili whispered, "I couldn't let you die" Lizzy whispered back. Fili kissed her forehead as Oin continued to work, Legolas tried to come through saying he could heal her, but the dwarves wouldn't let him touch her. "I'm no letting your elf magic get near her" Dwalin growled, Lizzy smiled at the bearded men. They did care for her and the other girls. "Funky chicken" Daisy mumbled "on a stick!" Lizzy exclaimed causing everyone to laugh. "You humans are strange" bilbo commented, "we need to keep moving" "Lizzy needs to-" "i am fine, and Thorin is right, we can't stay here forever" Lizzy said standing ignoring the pain in her side. They managed to climb out of the cave, "you were incredible" Legolas commented as he walked beside Lizzy. "Thank you" "how did you do all that?" "well Daisy and Jamie do gymnastics and they taught me a few things" Lizzy explained. Of course, Legolas didn't know what gymnastics was so Lizzy had to explain it.
