The company had been traveling for a few days now, heading to Rivendell where they would discuss their plan of action.

They sat around their fire, eating their supper and chatting away. "Bofur, what's wrong?" Daisy asked, the dwarf had seemed a bit quite and annoyed lately. "It's nothing" "no come on, tell me" Daisy pressed on, he sighed in frustration. "Do you have feelings for Kili?" Daisy starred in shocked for a moment, she surely wasn't expecting that question. "As a friend yes, why do you ask?" Bofur scoffed "oh come on! I saw you two dancing at the wedding! and you've been hanging out a lot more" he complained. Daisy rolled her eyes "Bofur, we're dating remember, I only have feelings for you" "whatever" he mumbled before standing up and walking away. "Trouble in paradise?" Daisy looked up to see Kili, "so what's up?" he asked sitting down beside her. "Bofur thinks you and I have a thing" "but we do have a thing" "but not that kind of thing!" she exclaimed. "There are different kinds of things?" "obviously! haven't you heard bilbo trying to explain his and rose's relationship?" Kili laughed. "Okay, so we're a different kind of thing" "that don't really have a thing" Daisy finished, the two laughed.

The company road on their ponies, using their hoods to protect themselves from the rain. Which wasn't much help, most of them were soaked to the bone. "Mr. Gandalf, is there anything you could do about this whether?" Dori called out, over the sound of pounding rain. "It is going to rain until the rain is done, you want something to be done about it you should have gotten yourselves a different wizards" he shot back. "Are they more, as in more wizards?" "Bofur we've already had this conversation!" Gandalf exclaimed. "Are they great wizards, or more like you?" Lizzy joked, Daisy smiled in her direction already catching on to what she was quoting. "Lizzy I'm quite sure you know the answer to that, seeing as you've read a books about our past adventures" he raised his bushy eyebrows giving the elf princess a knowing look.

They were able to find a clearing, where the branches of the trees grew together as if to form a roof. None the less, it kept the rain out, and they were able to start a warm fire. Lizzy desperately searched her bag for a clean shirt, trying to not shake from the cold in her now soaked one. "Here" she looked up to see Fili holding out one of his, "I'm fine, thanks" "Lizzy, yours looks like it was dunked in a river, it's freezing out, and your gonna get sick. So just take it" "this doesn't mean anything" she growled snatching the shirt. To be honest, Lizzy wanted nothing to do with the dwarf, but getting sick was not an option.

"What's wrong? and is that Fili's shirt?" Daisy asked as Lizzy emerged from the bushes. "Yes, and I don't want to talk about it" "when you say that you usually do, but think you'll sound self centered if you do" "shut up" "no" "son of a motherless hobbit!" Lizzy exclaimed earning a dirty look from bilbo. Although the hobbit didn't understand the expression, he still found it to sound mean.

"It's just, I thought, you know, we were something, then he went off and did that, and now I feel like we're nothing" Daisy sighed "I understand, if Bofur ever did that to me, I'd be pretty mad" "how is Bofur?" "not good, he thinks me and Kili have a thing" Daisy explained. "But you do have a thing" "not that kind of thing!" Daisy exclaimed. "Anyways, maybe you should talk to Legolas, you two haven't really been on talking terms in a while" "yea, like since I told him I didn't like him that way, our friendship sort of went down hill from there" Lizzy explained. She looked over at the tall blond elf, who sat leaning against a tree not to faraway. "Go talk to him" "I will, when I feel ready too"
