Legolas looked up just as the elf princess sat beside him. "Hey" she whispered, "hey, you okay?" she nodded "you?" he nodded back. "Sorry I haven't talked to you in a while" he sighed "no, it's my fault. I was being immature, I should accept the fact your with Fili" she smiled "no need to worry about that" "yea, I saw what happened, I could punch him if you want" Lizzy laughed. "So, why do our two races of elves hate each other?" Legolas sighed "well, probably because your dad is kind to the other creatures, shares the power of the elves, and has even invited a few into his kingdom. My father on the other hand, believes the elves are a superior race, that we are above the rest. So naturally he disagrees with what your dad is doing" Lizzy nodded. "I never liked that our kind doesn't get along, I once told my father that when I was king I would try to bring peace to our lives" "what did he say?" "He laughed, said that it was a impossible dream". "I disagree, I think it's possible" Legolas smiled "maybe if you stay here in middle earth, after the adventure is over, we could do it together" "I'd like that" Lizzy replied.
The company had eaten their supper and had laid down to rest. Not knowing the elf princess laid in her blankets, thrashing into the night.
"Why do you try to bring peace, when you know war is to come. Why do you try to save a place, that is already lost?" a deep voice asked, it was dark, Lizzy stood on a dark. She couldn't see, but she could hear the water as it splashed against the cold surface she stood on. "Who are you!" she screamed, the voice laughed. "Such a predictable question, and you should know that I wouldn't answer it" he responded. "Give up, elf princess, before it is to late" the water had risen, she could feel it against her legs. It was now above her knees, "not happening, I will fight!" she screamed. The water had swallowed her head, she couldn't swim up, as if something was pulling her down.
Lizzy gasped as she sat up "only a dream.... only a dream" she mumbled, trying to get her breathing to slow down. "Are you okay?" she looked over to see Legolas had awaken, and looked at her with worried eyes. "No"
