"it's times like these,
when you realize just how big of an impact you have on other peoples lives.

never in a million years would i have thought i'd come across a friend like you.
and never in a million years do i think i ever will again.

it's almost like a blessing,
to have gone through these past four years with you.
we've been through so much together.
and never could i have dreamt any of it without you.

you say how you're "going through a hard time", and it kills me to see it.
knowing full well there's nothing i can do to help.
i simply sit on the sidelines like a benched player, looking on in desperate agony.

if it were not for these seven hundred miles apart, i believe your pain would diminish.
completely fade away.
alike a cyan butterfly, flapping its wings from the open bay window atop the wall.

so don't forget my dear friend;
this is just the beginning,
and everything will eventually come to a stall.

to finally be no more,
and at last be free,
once and for all."
