Reunited

*Isolde's POV*

"Hey girl!"
"Long time no see, Sol!"

I waved at them as they walked my way. "Luella, Thomas what are you guys doing here?" They glanced at each other and nodded as Luella smiled widely and exclaimed with great glee. "Sol, Thomas and I are dating." I clasped my hands together and congratulated them on being a couple. "I told you it would happen someday." I joked as Luella wrapped her arms around his arm and laid her head on his broad shoulder. "When did all of this happen?" I asked as Luella answered quickly. "It happened Tuesday. So this is our first weekend together and my man is taking me out to dinner." I couldn't stop smiling as I watched how happy Lulu seemed and as Thomas leaned down and kissed her on the forehead. "Sol if you're not doing anything you can hang with us," Lulu asked as I waved my hand. "It wouldn't be much of a date if I came, besides I have important things to do." Lulu seemed to have squealed as she left Thomas' side and gave me a curious smile. "Did little Sol finally find the boy of her dreams?" I pushed her away and rolled my eyes. "Oh please I don't have time for that nonsense," I laughed as I continued with a white lie. "but I am meeting up with a boy." Lulu nudged my arm with hers as she lept back onto Thomas' arm and giggled. "Don't have too much fun Sol." I shook my head as I watched them walk away their fingers laced together.

"Who were they?"

The sudden voice made me jump a little as I turned around and saw Allifair looking up at me curiously.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were going home." I asked. He smiled as he responded. "I may have told you a little lie. I went to the forest but I didn't go in, I just watched things from afar." I rolled my eyes as Allifair repeated himself. "So, who were they?"
"Their just really good friends of mine," I commented to his question as I continued to smile thinking about how happy they looked.

"Names...?" Allifair persisted as I gave him the answer he was looking for. "Their names are Luella and Thomas and that's all I'm saying." Allifair nodded his head as he jumped in excitement. "You told them that you had something important to do, what is it?" I looked back down at Allifair as he turned his head to the side. 'How did he hear our conversation?' I asked myself but didn't bother asking. "I want to meet the rest of the pack get to know them better, see the other types of abilities your kind can wield." Allifair seemed to have smiled at this as he started walking towards the forest. The more often we walked the trail in the forest the shorter it seemed because I could see the pack in the distance but something was off. I had a weird feeling inside that something bad was going to happen as Allifair took off, sprinting as fast as he could. "Allifair wait!" I yelled after him as I picked up my pace to a fast sprint, trying to catch up with him.

I looked around as I stopped running and came to a halt one step behind Allifair. I haven't been here a whole lot but even I knew there was an unknown presence in the area. I heard a low growl as I glanced down at Allifair. His fur seemed to stand up a bit as grey smoke started to appear and roll out from underneath his black and orange fur and rise up to the tree leaves above. I almost took a step back from Allifair. The intense heat from his body was crazy and he wasn't even producing any sort of flames yet as his mother, Essence walked over and stood firmly in front of the fire pissed off wolf.

"They didn't come here to pick a fight, stand down Al." I watched as Essence didn't even flinch as Allifair started to shout. "These bastards shouldn't even be here! This is our territory their trespassing!" Allifair took a threatening step towards one of the unknown pack members and deeply growled.

"That's quite enough Al!" Essence ordered as she moved to be in front of him again but this time she had what looked like a white flame on her two front paws and her eyes changed and became a hard silver color as she glared down at him. I watched Allifair's every movement as he looked back and forth from the unknown pack member to his mother until he finally turned his head in my direction and sighed. The smoke his body produced faded into the air as he stood up tall and cleared his throat.
