The first few hours were pointless because the books had no information about loss of memories and no skin to skin contact.

"Dawn, is there anything else you can tell us that can help?" Hope pleaded. I went into deep thought trying to find something relevant.

"When I touch someone I get these weird visions... almost like memories of my past," I whispered.

"Okay let's see," Ink held out his hand. I slowly went to touch it and I felt a jolt of a few visions. I couldn't see it clearly so I just brushed it off. I shook my head at them.

"Huh..." he trailed. Hope's eyebrows were knitted together. She was staring intently at my hand.

"What if these... visions only happen when you knew someone from your past? Or when they resemble someone you knew or something you had?" She questioned.

"But how would I know if I knew them?" I asked confused.
"This sounds familiar," Hope mumbled to herself.

"Oh no, Hope has gone into her thoughts and is not telling us something!" Ink hissed.

"Just give her a sec, Ink," Noah hushed. We waited for five minutes and then Hope gasped.

"Okay guys, look for books that are related to any nature, like nature spirits or even better- Greek Myths!" Hope squealed. She jumped up from her seat, pulling Ink along with her, leaving me and Noah alone.

"So where's the Greek Myths section?" I asked awkwardly, getting up from my seat.

He laughed lightly, "This way."

Noah and I studied almost every book in that section and it was still pointless.

"So you really can't remember anything?" He questioned me.

"Nope, nothing... well I actually remembered something but I'm not sure what it was," I uttered.

"What was it about?" He asked politely. He leaned against the bookshelf and I looked through the books.

"Well I just heard these voices... there was a baby and it sounded like the baby's parents. And something particular stood out." I explained. I stood still trying to remember.

"The Dragonfly Talisman. That stands out," I said aloud. I looked at Noah and then I looked back at the books.

"Well maybe this talisman is something that belonged to you," Noah said.

"Yes! But maybe there's a book with that same title too?" I questioned, looking back at the books. I searched each title and picture. I kept looking and searching until I finally found what I was looking for, behind the books right at the bottom.

"I think this is the book," I whispered. Noah offered his hand to lift me up.

"Um, I don't want to risk it. It can sometimes hurt you and me when I get a memory back, depending on the importance I guess," I said.

"Oh right yes, I'm sorry," he apologized. He ran his fingers through his hair and he seemed embarrassed.

"Come on let's go find Hope and Ink," I beckoned. We walked back to the huge table where Hope's head was literally stuck in a book and Ink was dozing off.

"I think I found the book we're looking for," I said. I sat down back on my chair and placed the book in the middle. It felt familiar.

"The Dragonfly Talisman?" Hope questioned.

"Yeah, I had a vision about it when I accidentally touched you," I answered.

"That's odd..." Hope trailed off, and she reached down to her bag. She pulled out a long chain, with a bright blue and purple, gem encrusted pendant in the shape of a dragonfly.

"You mean this Dragonfly Talisman?" she asked me. I stared at in shock. I went to take it but then I realized I shouldn't.

"I think the baby in the vision," I looked at Noah. "Was me!"

My mind was in a frenzy. I had so many questions but I knew not all could be answered. I gingerly opened the book and I was even more shocked to find my name on the first page.

"My... name," I whispered. I grazed my fingers over the faded ink of the name, 'Dawn Ellenoa Rose' but there was one part which I couldn't read.
"It says Rose. That's my last name I know it but then this other part is not clear," I squinted.

"Let me see," Hope grabbed the book and stared closely at the last name. "I can't make it out but I could do a spell to clear it?" she pouted.

"That would be great. Thank you so much," I pleaded.

"It may take a few months as I'm still learning and this book seems really really old," she said, blowing off the dust.

"That's fine. As long as you get the name. Thanks Hope," I smiled at her. This was really good news for me. Even though it may take months, it's still baby steps.

"Let's keep reading, maybe we can find a name for your supernatural being," Hope said. We all studied the books thoroughly. By the time we finished, it was about 4 o'clock. The book was basically a diary of my life before I was first killed in 1100 AD.

Caroline burst through the door, pacing towards our table. Ink and Noah had left since it was getting late but Hope stayed with me.

"Hey Care! I think I know how we can help her," Hope said, very pleased.

"Oh that's great news Hope," Caroline squealed. "So what did it all come down to then? Do you have an idea of what you are?"

"It's very unusual but I guess they do exist," Hope explained. She turned towards me.

"I'm a naiad," I exclaimed.

So Dawn is a naiad and I decided to play around with the Greek myths and stuff. She will meet the Mikaelsons soon don't worry!
