Earned It (Complete)

Kacy's P.O.V

I turned around quickly when I heard a close voice call out to me.  I turned my head and scanned the room for who had called out.  It kept moving until my eyes got caught up in one expression.

"Michael!?  What are you doing here?"

"Free day.  Decided to come to the mall and hang out.   What are you doing here?"

"I had to come and get my guitar fixed.  And I couldn't help but start singing."

I didn't really know what to say.  Was it a coincidence that we were both here, together?  Or was it fate?  I couldn't help but feel a little curious by the fact that I had just seen Drew earlier.  And now Michael is here.

"I thought you were all going to be at the studio all day."

"Yeah.  We finished early......  WAIT!  How did you know that!?"

"I saw Drew earlier.  He told me you guys would be at the studio all day long."

"You saw him, this  morning?"

"Yeah.  He tried to get away in the crowd after I had finished singing.  But I saw him."

I could tell something was off.  He just looked really weird and mad, and confused.

"Hey.  What's wrong Michael?"

"Drew lied to me!  Drew lied to me!? Drew lied to me??"

"Michael, what are you talking about?"

"I confronted him when he got hom.  At first he just said he was on a walk.  And after I confronted him about that, he changed his story and said he was down by the baordwalk.  At this breakfast bakery Joe had told him about."

"He was!?  I love that place.  Their food is SO good."

"NO!  I don't think he was.  If you said that you caught him trying to blend in with your crowd to leave without being seen, I think that's where he was the whole time."

"I can't believe he lied to me!?"

"I'm sure he had a good reason Michael."

"I hope so."

I could tell he looked pretty upset.  Michael was awesome.  I baely knew him by meeting him, but there was a connection.  I loved talking to him.  

"Michael?"

"Yeah?"

"Come on.  I know you've lived here in LA for like a year now.  But i'm sure you've been so busy you haven't been able to really see the best spots."

"What do you mean?"

"Here.  Come on.  I wanna show you something."

"I think i'm just gonna head home."

"Seriously!  I know you'll love it.  And don't worry there aren't any bees there.  I'm sure it'll make you feel better."

"I don't know Kacy...."

"What do you have to lose?  You'd rather go home and face Drew in front of everybody?"

"No....  well...... Ok.  I'm in!"

What happened that morning with me and Drew was definitely intriguing.  And with Drew I feel alive a little more.  But with Michael I just feel like I can be myself.  I can speak my mind and he won't attack me for it.  I feel like with Michael, i'm safe.
