Chapter 6 - telling the weasleys

* Hermione pov *

"FINALLY!" Ginny said happily and exhausted. "You two finally got together!" She added. I put my head in my hands while shaking my head in embarrassment. Fred still had his arm around me so he pulled me closer.

"Oh, you two are just so cute together!" Mrs. Weasley said happily. "You're dating each other?!" Ron said in a hurt tone. I looked at Fred to see what he thought. "Yes we are, so if you don't mind I'd like you to keep your grubby hands off my Girlfriend from now on" he said smirking.

I scoffed while rolling my eyes, got up and went to Ginnys room. After about two minutes she came up. "Finally you two are together, you're so cute. I was getting tired of hearing you complain about Fred this and Fred that- no offenses though" Ginny said.

I smirked while rolling my eyes. "I'm in to much of a happy mood to be mad at you, but I can promise you this, I'll get you later so watch your back" I said. She then, with a frightened look, sprinted out of the room and down stairs.

"BREAKFAST IS READY!"

* Fred's pov *

Hermione sprinted down the stairs a childish look in her eyes and her hair flying around her face. She looked so beautiful. He held her hand under the table as they ate. Ron growled so only Fred could her him " she's mine! Not yours!MINE!" The only thought in fredd mind was I need to save Hermione .

It felt as if time slowed down. Fred looked at Mione. She had a worried look etched upon her face.

Time sped up again and Hermione said " Fred may I see you in the living room?" He nodded " is that alright mrs Weasley ?"

" sure dear !"

" yeah mum they will totally be talking " Ginny said teasingly. " oh shut up gin!"

When Fred turned into the living Hermione was sitting on the couch with worry still upon her face. "Hermione what's up?"

" Em want to get married just before 2 years after I turn 17?"

" that's a bit fast , isn't it?"

" Well we kind of have to, we are soulmates!"

" we learned about them last year , they read each other's thoughts-"

"- and as the youngest one turns 17 they have 1 and 1/2 years to get married and then half a year to have a child "

"yes but we can try to find a way to-"

" no it's set ! What were you thinking about?"

" Ron wants to make you his!"

" George told a funny story of you when you were younger!"

" Wait! What one?"

" the one where- more pressing matters at hand here Fred !"

"I know , I know!"

" do we have to tell your family ?"

" no but we have to tell them at some point"

" yeah so do you want to marry me ?"

" yes why would you think other wise ?"

" I don't know , I just don't think you'd want to stay with me "

" you are so wrong !"

" Oi!! Lovebirds we need you in here!" George shouted Mrs Weasley quietly shut him up.

When it was time to go back to hogwarts Fred and Hermione has worked up the courage to tell the Weasley's so Dumbledore might be able to set them up some arrangements. It was said soulmates shouldn't be apart for long periods of time. So it would be better if they had their own quarters.

Dumbledor managed to make some arrangements on the terms they had to clean it themselves. They thanked him profusely and set to decorate their mini house.
