I went up to the gymnastics studio and changed into a leotard. It was black with hot pink lines that ran from one side of the chest to the torso and it was long sleeved. I put my hair up in a high ponytail. I wrapped up my wrists and I walked out of the closet. When I walked out, I saw Alec standing there. I quickly stretched and walked over to the beam.

"You ready to show me what you got, Harris?" He asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be, Matthews." I said while putting the springboard to the right of the balance beam. "Just so you know I'm doing a really simlple routine because I haven't practiced in a few weeks." I chalked up my hands and feet and went to the spring board.

I stood behind the spring board and raised my arms above my head and then faced Alec and did it once more. I jumped on the spring board and landed in left splits on the beam. I got up on my left knee, kicking my right leg in the air behind me. I stood up and performed a few dance moves. I backed up towards the edge of the beam and then did two front ariels. I did a couple more dance moves. I then did two back handsprings. I ended my simple routine with a round off back tuck dismount.

I smiled and faced Alec, who -to my surprise- was not alone. Next to him stood Jonah, Jace, and Luke. "Oh hey, when did you guys get here?" I asked as I caught my breath.

"We came in just before you did those two front flips." Jace said as Alec and Luke stood with their eyes wide and mouths open in shock.

"They're called front ariels." I said as I put some sweat pants on. "So what did you guys think? It wasn't my best, but I don't think it was bad."

"Are you kidding me?" Alec said. "That was amazing!"

"How the hell did you learn to do that?" Luke asked.

"Just by practicing, I guess. I've been doing gymnastics since I was four." I answered. After I cooled down, I went to the closet to grab my clothes. "I wanted to show you my routine on bars, but my wrist is acting up again. I guess it will have to wait for anothe day."

"I think it's best to wait for another day because I don't think I can handle anymore of your talent right now." Luke said. I giggled at his compliment.

"I'm gonna go take a shower before dinner. See you guys later." I said as I walked into the elevator.

"See you." Alec said.

"Bye." Luke mumbled.

I got back to my room and hopped into the shower. I had taken a shower earlier, so I didn't bother doing my hair. I washed my body and stepped out. I put on a pair of yoga pants and a grey wife beater. I put on a grey bra and matching grey underwear. I tied my hair with a black scrunchie and put on a bit of concelear to cover up the dark bags under my eyes.

10 minutes later, Allison called us down for dinner. Dinner was pretty ordinary. We had spaghetti and meatballs. Luckily, no one asked me why I was here. I don't think I could've handled that conversation. After dinner I watched a few episodes of 'Dance Academy' on Netflix. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 10pm. It was early but I was really tired so I decided to go to sleep.

Today was a pretty good day for me. I don't think living here will be as bad as I thought it would. I hope school won't be a problem, maybe I'll make a few friends. Soon, I was too tired to think and I drifted off into a deep sleep.
